The product works well, now that it is working. However, when it first arrived, it would not turn on or function at all. I ended up getting out a screwdriver and opening the case. The unit had been assembled improperly, and the touch buttons weren't interfacing with the circuit board. Apparently no one tested the unit to see if it worked before it was sent out for sale. Anyway, I fixed the problem and now it works fine and does what I paid for it to do.

This was a poor quality product. Ordered one and everything worked except for, the proprietary din to vga cable that goes between the converter and laptop would kill the laptop every time I plugged that cable into it. Just the cable would do this. I plug external monitors into my laptop all the time so the cable that came with this converter should not be doing this. Tried it on other laptops and it did the same thing. I ordered a second unit and it did the exact same thing. So I gave up and requested refunds on both...which took almost a month for returns to issue me a good RMA and shipping label. Ended up purchasing a similar item off ebay at half the cost that works great!

Great adaptor ,used to made work a computer monitor to watch security cameras from a dvr ,worked very good!!

Works like a charm! I mainly used it to my Playstation 3 S-Video to letting it convert to the VGA.(The Impact box of the VGA signal stays intact with your monitor for the Impact menu, even without the Playstation 3; from there, the its Impact menu has an all around resolution setting up to 1080 aspect fix.)

I bought one of these units to hook up a 22" LCD monitor to a DVD player and a satellite receiver. It works perfectly. I only wish it had a remote and volume controls. And a way to hook up both the DVD player and the sat receiver without having to switch the cables.

Works well with my Play Station 2. My LCD monitor is going bad, so the colors can't really be judged. This unit works like it should. I'm sure this will really do well when I get a new LCD monitor.

I only use it for outputting a musical keyboard display unit. It worked straight out of the box. Seems to adapt to a variety of situations. Saved having to run it thru a computer. I have not used it to watch video. So far so good

I bought this to replace a 15 inch crt TV with a spare 19 inch LCD computer monitor in my computer room. Hook up was very easy. Originally I was just going to use this to watch TV but have since connected my security computer to it so that I can switch from watching TV to seeing what my out door cameras are seeing. I have it connected to my comcast cable box. The picture quaility could be better. Flesh colors are a little off which you might be able to correct by tweaking the unit settings or the lcd settings. I wasn't that worried about it since we usually have cnn on. I would have no problem recommending this unit to any one who wants to use your computer monitor to also watch TV.
