Very poor product
Comment:
I have nothing but grief with this product since it was installed. It is very unreliable and uncontrollable. Very susceptible to loosing connections and is 50-50 on response from key-board commands. Don't waste you time and money on this second rate product. Go for a better brand. |

Great product, works as expected
Comment:
I used this to split audio and video between a laptop and desktop to a projector. The switch showed no discernable image loss and the audio switching solve the other problem. |

Works out of the box as expected
Comment:
I have used other vendor switches and this model was very easy to setup and worked out of the box as expected. No problems encountered. All connected computers worked just fine without rebooting, all Windows machines. I had a USB style mouse but used an adapter to connect to the PS2 connection, no problems. It's a real space saver when you don't have much desk space to begin with. Recommendation: thumbs up! |

Best KVM Switch I've Ever Owned
Comment:
This is really the best KVM switch I've ever owned. The switch supports keyboards, mice, VGA-style video, audio out, audio in, and a variety of USB devices. It also includes USB hub functionality. All of this just works, straight out of the box, without any issues. Installation is a simple matter of connecting your shared devices to the switch and then using the included USB, VGA, and audio cables to connect up to 4 PC's to the switch. The best feature of all, though, is the space-saving design. My old KVM switch resulted in a rat's nest of wires on and around my desk. The clean design of this switch really reduces the clutter. Great product, highly recommended! |

Exactly what I needed
Comment:
Very good product. Did exactly what I needed it to do. Running 2 computers, one with Vista, one with XP. Read through ALL the directions first - I only read part way, and couldn't figure out why the hub ports weren't working with both computers. When I read through everything, I got both computers working correctly. Only complaint is that I am running a wireless mouse, and it does take several seconds - up to a minute sometimes - for the mouse to be recognized when switching between computers. A little pricey, but worth it. Very sturdy product. |

Cables To Go Trulink 35566 KVM Switch - 4-Port PS/2 USB Audio
Comment:
The unit works well as long as you use a PS2 mouse and keyboard. I believe that the unit I received is defective but can't return it as it's installed at a remote client now. The USB ports would not work when switching (using the switch buttons). I had to go out and buy a PS2 keyboard and mouse to get it to work properly, which is hard to find these days. I was disappointed with an item that costs this much. I've read reviews on other sites after purchasing this and found there have been similar quality issues with this unit and similar problems. |

Cables To Go Trulink 35566 KVM Switch - 4-Port PS/2 USB Audio
Comment:
Looks and works great. I only wish the USB/PS2 ports could have been located on the back or the side instead of on the front. But it's easy to hook up, it's rock solid on the desk with it's really nice rubber footings. I would be nice if you hot key with a USB keyboard, the it's very easy to just hit the button. |

Cables To Go Trulink 35566 KVM Switch - 4-Port PS/2 USB Audio
Comment:
I just set it up in a Vista-XP-Ubuntu three computer mix, with a wireless USB mouse,an old PS2 keyboard, a Dell LCD, a mike and a set of self powered speakers. Worked fine right out of the box. It may be expensive, but I got my money's worth. And Tigerdirect delivered it in a short time, too. |

Cables To Go Trulink 35566 KVM Switch - 4-Port PS/2 USB Audio
Comment:
This unit has been all that i could desire. I have an XP computer as my primary unit, a Vista as an auxiliary unit and a Linux box as a learning experience. This KVM was strictly plug and play. Gone are the extra displays and keyboards etc. Hot Keys or manual switchs are nice. Independent sound and USB are wonderful. A great buy. |
This product appears to be well built and would function fine if they would assign the main keyboard commands to keys that everyone actually has. The unit will allow you to share a ps2 keyboard, monitor and ps2 mouse out of the box fine. Plug everything up (make sure you are using a ps2 keyboard and ps2 mouse) and you are good to go. However, I can get that for $10, not $160. Unfortunately, to access all the cool features, such as shared audio and usb devices, or to use a usb keyboard and mouse, you have to use the SCROLL key on your keyboard ????? Where in the heck is the SCROLL key ? I've been an IT director for years and I can't find a SCROLL key on any of my keyboards, either standard or my laptop keyboards !! I got on manuf chat on their website, nice feature and they were very helpful. But, they told me that the SCROLL key was the only way I could access any additional features on the unit ! I don't feel like remapping keys, so back it goes !
