matt does what it is suppose to do. like it because you can just about lay all your components on this mat and assemble any pc build.

I read a lot of reviews about DOA motherboards. Kind of makes you wonder exactly how the motherboard was handled while being installed. This mat is perfect for laying a motherboard on. Necessary if installing CPU cooler outside of the computer case. I work in the computer field and see a lot of gutsy guys day in and day out and they out of a job when they get busted being careless.

I bought this pad so I could build my new PC. It's much easier than wearing an anti static wrist band. I only recommend that when you first take it out of the box, you lay it upside down, place some heavy objects on it to flatten it out. If you don't, it will curl up on you out of the box! Treat it like a rolled up carpet you'd buy at the store! I've aldo decided to keep my computer on this mat to protect it from any future anti-static issues.

A few weeks ago, I built my first computer, and I got this mat to help with the static discharge issue, and it worked perfectly. I had no issues at all with static, it was a good size to work on, and (this was the major reason I bought this from here), its available in Canada. I was wanting to buy this product, but most sites said it was unavailable in Canada (like many other parts I wanted for my computer), so I was very happy when I found this available here. The price was good, the shipping was fast, it was exactly what this site portrayed it as, and it worked wonderfully. I would highly recommend this retailer again.

very good quality. very large area to work on, and it is much eisier than wearing a wrist strap all the time.
