This was purchased for a classroom instructor podium with an older desktop PC, so no card reader options. This unit sits right by my monitor, and reads any card I give it fine.

The card reader was recognized by my Windows XP OS computer; the information from my Sony Memory Stick Pro and Memory Stick Pro Duo was downloaded fast to my hard drive. I would purchase the product again or recommend to anyone wanting to directly download information from memory cards.

I had no issues with the product. I used it on both my Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows PCs with zero issues out of the package.

Smaller and lighter than a pack of Virginia Slims, this card reader comes with USB cable and makes a perfect accessory for my laptop. Works out of the box with no drivers required.
