Cables Unlimited - DVI-D cable splitter (1 FOOT)

This splitter does not transmit the signal from the dvi video card to the hdmi tv. I run a dual monitor link video card and got this to run the primary monitor to an hdtv set also, so I could use two monitors and an hdmi tv off of one video card connector. Most video cards use Dvi, not hdmi connectors. The signal needs to be amplified and I wound up getting a LINDY dvi power splitter to do this. www.lindy-usa.com/dvi-video-splitter-2-port/32447.html

This item does everything you would want----however it will not carry the signal. Wasted money! I would not recommend this at all. This is the first item ever purchased from Tiger that I was unhappy with.

We bought 12 of these, not one worked. No signal at all. Called Cables unlimited to check on this, but they only do tech service by email.

Signal was very bad when using this splitter. Doesn't work by itself. Must need an amplified signal in order to work correctly.
