May or May not work

I have an old HP LJ1100 that does not support USB, so go this converter and installed software. Worked at first but after a reboot it stopped. I reloaded the software severial times and finally gave up. Save the the $20 and buy a new printer, they a cheap now. |

Affordable and effective

This cable allowed me to connect a old HP1100(DB25)laserjet printer to my XP laptop(USB). The driver installation for the cable was a snap and the printer was up and running in no time! |

Worked well with old printer

I must admit I was worried about whether this would work with my 10-12 year-old HP LaserJet 5P (that thing just keeps going!). But all I did was connect the cable and it worked right away. |
From a black-n-white printer. The cable does what is should do - convert from a USB to pin printer. Just becareful as to which driver you load for your OS.
