Excellent Product
Comment:
The converter does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is handy and seems to be well constructed. It is an inexpensive way to use a rather expensive IDE CD/DVD R/RW/LightScribe drive in a computer whose motherboard has only SATA controllers. Speeed tests with NERO show it to be faster than the Pioneer DVR-217D. Very satisfied so far. |

This is a very simple SATA to IDE adapter but it works very well i am geting faster interface speed from my IDE hard drive and have had no problems though at $20 it is a little expensive for what it is. |
Exactly as described, and allowed me to install a new 500GB IDE HD in my new PC which has only SATA connections. The only -- MINOR -- problem: It sticks out too far when in the drive cage, hitting the side of the PC Case, not allowing cable connection. Solution: Mount the drive in a three inch bay...
