I use this device to power some equipment grouped together in one area; telephones, television, DVR, etc. It works really well because of the adjustability in plugging in those large, unhandy power transformers for these devices. I feel much safer also because of having effective surge protection in place. Telephones are the first to get fried during an electrical storm; I know from past experience.

I first saw this in skymall mag. & thought they would be handy. I purchased one from this store (saving about $15) and Im hooked! The expanding feature is REALLY great when charging phones, laptops,bluetooth etc all at the same time.
