what a dud!

i was excited at first to be able to use multiple displays, i thought. this product looks nice, comes with everything needed, but just didn't work. i installed it on a dell sx270 with windows xp pro, 2 gigs of ram, and all requirements. after install, it asked to restart pc to finish set-up. i did and when it restarted it said it again, and again, and again. i could not figure out why. no good troubleshooting for this product. bottom line. i would not recommend this to anyone. i was very disappointed. it also comes from a third party and takes too long for shipment. good luck! |

Is this really what you want

This is a great device works as it is stated but if you want an HDMI connection with sound look someplace else and it seems to want to use your tv as the default monitor even if its not connected to anything so don't freak if your monitor goes blank overall works great for what my client needed |
I wanted to hook my netbook up to my 32 inch lcd. This device would not let me use the lcd as the primary and use the full 32 inch screen. Quite annoying. It would be fine for smaller screens. It does not seem to have the lag or fuzziness I have seen with other usb to video converters.
