Cons:Chipped cartridges

Pros:Much more fade-resistant than previous version

Comment:
Definitely more fade-resistant than the previous generation Canon ink (BCI-6 series). However, they've also made the cartridge smaller (fewer mL of ink) and chipped it, which makes refilling difficult.
