I bought this camera a year ago, because i like to take pictures of great quality, i knew the price would be a bit high, but i bought it anyway because i know Canon is one of the best cameras companies out there.This camera uses the Digic 4 processor which is also used in professional cameras, and all professionals know that Canon make their own lens, so those are always a good sign of excellent craftmanship.I usually suggest the user to buy a 8gb or 16gb Class 4, 6 or faster SDHC card as it come with a 32mb SD card in the package.This camera still uses 2 x AA batteries, so very easy to replace when the time comes to replace them or recharge your batteries.All in all, it's an excellent digital camera for casual photography, small enough, only the price may be a little too high for those wanting a digital camera accessible to anyone.
