so far this has been a good camera. good picture quality. kind of strange that the only storage choice for pics is a lossy format. i really like that i can play with this camera just like the 35mm camera i have. the on/off button sure is stiff. it felt like i might break it the first couple times i used it. the outdoor shots look wicked using superfine. some of my indoor shots look a little grainy. i can't wait to try the aperture and shutter speeds. i haven't been able to find an extra battery on the canon website yet. something that i found strange, when i opened the sealed box there were fingerprints on the lcd screen... it sure would have been nice to get even a rudimentary carrying case. overall this is a pretty nice camera that seems to be reasonably the same price as other cameras in this class.
