Cons:Some low light noise. Mini accessory shoe not great. Buy a good microphone if you're using it for a video project.

I bought this on sale and I couldn't be happier with it. Sure it's using single detector technology and there are some inherent limits with that, and sure the manual focus option isn't perfect, but this is an incredible camea for the price. The video quality is outstanding and it's hard (for me) to differentiate daylight shooting quality from alot of pro-sumer cameras that are 3 - 5 times the price.Buy a good shotgun mic (I wouldn't bother with the expensive canon option - I bought a rode) and it's good enough for film-festival quality video without the hassle of hdv tape.
