I love its functions BUT the sub-pixel problem disappointed me. Unless there is no substitute for it, I will neither buy another one nor recommend it to my friends and relatives. Wacom should understand that people don't want spend their money for a defective screen. I would rather spend more money for a perfect screen than a "cheaper" but defected. AND what even worse is that there is NO WARRANTY for such defect! AND I must send the tablet at MY cost for EVALUATION. Here are some reference of what Wacom responded to others in Wacom's forum: 1. "There is a section in the manual about LCD quality on page 58 in the manual. We cannot guarantee that the LCD panels do not have any subpixel defects. A certain number has to be accepted. In our contract with the panel makers we had to accept a certain number of subpixel defects, otherwise we would have to pay much more for it. Only if there are more defects than specified, we can send the panel to the maker and claim it under warranty." 2. "A Cintiq21 has nearly 6 million subpixels. It is technically difficult to produce LCD panels with so many pixels without any failure. All panels are checked by the manufacturer at the factory, not by Wacom. A specification has been agreed, what is regarded as acceptable and that reflected in the price."
