A definite upgrade over my old DIR-655 (which I loved)!This is a great router. The signal strength in my flat has increased quite a bit and it's wonderful to have a 5Ghz channel for transferring files to the home media player. |

Cons:Signal isn't as great as some of the other routers.
Pros:Sturdy, has USB ports, a power switch on the router, can stream HD without buffering. Looks good Comment:
2 months, only 1 incident in which the router stopped working. I turned it off for the night and it was fully functional in the morning it likely overheated temporarily. Still running update d stock firmware and likely won't update until it encounters serious problems. |

Pros:Decent speed. Dual band. 1Gb switch. Compatible with DD-WRT based Linux software. At the $89.99 clear out price, it's a good deal compared to other routers with similar features. Comment:
Flashed with DD-WRT firmware this is a very capable router. It's probably OK with the standard firmware but I never bothered with it. Also own a WRT610N (which is basically the same hardware) and never had a problem with it either. I needed a repeater so the E3000 was put in its place and the 610N is now acting as a repeater. |

Good faster router at great price. Upgraded from DIR-615, would have thought would have seen better performance with Gbit lan. Setup was quite easy. |

Cons:Takes 5 minutes each time you reboot it to be detected again

Fast router for a really cheap price. At times is would give me limited connectivity?(1 once a week) but it goes away after reconnecting. Setup was took me 30 minutes... the CD instructions were bad.... so I just used the Web GUI which is so much better. So far I have not been able to get a printer or storage working on it. Overall gives a good range, speed, and doesn't take up too much space. |

I have one already from Feb/11. I am buying another one for a family member. This is a good deal at 89.99. I guess it's dropped in price cause the X200 series is new and these ones are discontinued.However, it's been pretty reliable and fast. |
This is my second router with DD-WRT software, and I find that Linksys routers work the best with this software, amazing range, great speed and performance + lots of options to choose from from DD-WRT software. Whatever you do, make sure you backup your original Linksys firmware so that in case you need to get it serviced for warranty purposes or for whatever reason you may have. I guess I am old school and I like to backup my firmware and softwareI paid 69.99+ tax for this product
