Cisco SG100D-08 8 Port Unmanaged 10/100/100 Gigabit Desktop Switch
Cons:None
Pros:Great speed, painless hook-up Comment:
Just plug it in. I got this to replace an old wireless G router that had the wireless turned off when I changed ISP's and got a gigabit router. I figured the router was bottlenecking. Switched it out and my download speed tripled, upload doubled. Not as pictured, received the newer V2. Differences include no power button, lights (two per port, activity and gigabit) are with the ports. Power is on opposite side of ports, top when wall mounted. Nice, cause I was worried about the power falling out when I wall mounted it. |

The switch does not looking anything like the one pictured in the web page above. I specifically ordered it because I wanted at the activity lights on the front and the connections on the back for placement in a recording studio. The unit sent has everything on the front, lights and connections. It makes for a very messy studio installation. The photos should be updated to reflect what the switch really looks like.
