Cons:The Quick Start Guide makes you think that connecting to the device is easy as putting in an IP. I had to manually my NIC configuration to: IP - 192.168.1.10, Subnet - 255.255.255.0, Gateway - 192.168.1.254 in order to do a direct connection. It looks like the switch, by default, gets an IP from DCHP.The config pages seems a bit daunting, but that's not a bad thing necessarily since this is geared towards advanced users.The fan is a bit noisy, but I'd rather have white noise all of the time than nothing and have the switch fail or something.

Pros:It's a wicked awesome Cisco switch. Great way to control various IP devices (PoE is sweet) over your network.
