Planning for a 1100 mile trip, I wanted an inverter to power my laptop, Zune and any other accessory. I searched about ten other stores from auto parts to big box electronic centers. they gave me the best price for this inverter. The inverter powered all devices flawlessly. This was an excellent purchase and a GREAT deal.

I bought this inverter because the one I inherited could not charge a laptop or my wife's camera battery. It's a fairly large device but I was able to fit in the car's glove compartment. Does a great job.

Cheer. First of all, I found this on Amazon.com but it came from here. I ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday via standard shipping. FANTASTIC!!! As instructions stated I attached a test load (60 watt bulb). Seeing that it worked I attached my 4th generation Ipod Nano to the USB port and it re-charged perfectly. Then I tried my Porter-Cable sander and it worked properly. Finally I tested the Cobra 480I with my 350 watt blender which is the main reason I bought it. Now I can't wait to take this tailgating and mix those frozen concoctions! This is one device you need to have in your car. Just make sure you know how much load (watts) you need. BTW, here's my recipe for frozen margaritas. Add 1 6oz can of frozen limeade to blender. Use can to add 6 oz EACH of Triple Sec and Tequila. Start blender on high. Add ice slowly until blender is full. Your frozen concoction (and I mean frozen) is ready!!
