Cooler Master CM Storm QuickFire TK SGK-4020-GKCM3-US Black Wired Keyboard with Brown Switch
Cons:Might be too compact for some, some useful key (like DEL) are on the numeric pad and require a combination of keys to make it work, a bit louder than expected.
Pros:Feels incredibly solid, could serve as a weapon if a 2X4 is not available, great typing comfort, compact, cool lighting effects. |

Amazing keyboard |
I never used a mechanical keyboard before, so when I decided to build myself a nice gaming rig, I decided to try one. This uses CherryMX brown keys, supposed to be in the middle between silence and speed efficiency. The keyboard is small and very stiff, feels like a slab of steel in the bottom was added for extra rigidity. The keystrokes are firm and solid, but I was a bit surprised by the sound it makes. I think I'll get a cheapo plastic keyboard for use during the late hours when the wife and kids are sleeping because this might easily wake up someone with a light sleep.Feels like a keyboard from the early 80's, everything is tight and solid. I'm at work right now typing this on a 15$ Dell keyboard.....truly a world of difference.
