I don't have a wealth of experience with mechanical keyboards but this one focuses on the basics - the only feature you'll find over a plain keyboard is a light in the F9 key that glows when you disable the windows keys by pressing FN-F9.The brown keys aren't as loud as the blues but still offer a nice tactile feel. The look of this keyboard isn't flashy, either, the entire thing is matte black and the only logo is on the top left edge. You could conceivably use it in an office environment as long as your coworkers don't mind the sound of the keys. I also appreciate the USB cord plugging in rather than being hardwired, and the included cable is nicely braided.
