Overall this was the only cooler I could use for my laptop as I could get the fans exactly where they could actually be used to cool the system. I saw a 5-10 degrees drop  in both my cpu and gpu when gaming.

This is a great unit, especially for the cost if you are lucky enough to catch the rebates. It is a little over-sized for my MacBook Pro but this allows two fans to be positioned along the left edge of my laptop, where the most heat is generated.The movable fans are really an excellent feature -- I sure hope they hold up. Very quiet and easy to set up. The downside is that the fans run continuously if you use your computer's USB plug and go to standby mode. Power still goes to USB on standby... I wasn't aware of that. Also, the wire coming off the USB plug to power the fans gets in the way of other plugins on my laptop. In this case, I either lose 1 USB port or my Thunderbolt, both of which I need. Bad design! I'm going to buy a simple 120V to USB adapter and plug it into the power bar running the rest of my music gear -- that will solve both problems (but there go my rebate savings). Still great value and recommended.

I bought this for my 15.6" Lenovo laptop because it was heating up with moderate use (let alone gaming). It cools my system by around 10 degrees when I configure the fans around the GPU/CPU area.

I am very impressed with this Cooling Pad. The laptop fits on it nicely, the rubber grips prevent the laptop from sliding, you can move the 3 Fans anywhere where you want (place them on all the hot spots)and the fans run very quiet.

These fans are VERY quiet, even on max, and it cools my Alienware M17x R4 by 10-20 degrees celcius, depending on the game I play.recommended for hot laptops, as these fans can be moved around.

a great cooler for the price. I got it when its on sale for only $19.99. Full aluminum build. WORKS WELL FOR MACBOOK PRO RETINA DISPKAY 15 INCH. The macbook pro retina special air intake system works with this !

I gave this to my brother as a gift and he really likes it. My only complaint is that the height of the cooler is not adjustable, since with the cooler and his laptop battery it ends up being at a significant angle.

I bought it when it is on sale. Highly recommended if your laptop runs hot. It defintely will save you as I have a compaq that the motherborad burned because of the it running too hot.

Perfect fit for Alienware M17x. Low price. Fans can be placed to push air directly in the vents. Very silent, the laptop noise is higher than the 3 fans included.

Bought this cooler on sale for $20 for my 4-year old laptop, which was prone to overheating, and the fact that my heat vent opens to the right side to my mouse didn't help. Now, with this elevated cooler, all I need to do was plop a fan right under the vent, and I won't have to deal with hot air coming on to my hand any more! Also, since the surface is a solid aluminium, it ensures that the pad itself is cool at all times, giving the laptop a permanently cool surface to rest on

I know it's meant for 17-19" laptop (made especially obvious with the placing of the rubber pads), but my 13.3" sits great on the cooler. Like many thin laptop owners, overheating quickly becomes an issue, and the 3 fans are way better than the smaller U2 model. Average idle temps have dropped by 3-5 degrees. I really wish Cooler Master would make a 3 fan version for the small thin laptop/ultrabook market though!

Great product and got it on sale for $20. I love it since I'm using my laptop with a seperate monitor/keyboard and mouse and it should help keep temps low for gaming. Great coolermaster product.

I bought this for my laptop and found out it does keep the system cool except it is poor constructed. Although it does worth the money but something like this should last for a long time. Does worth the time and money if you are planning to buy this
