The stock fan looked out of place when this unit was installed in my file server so I swapped it with a non-LED, quieter Noctua fan and it still keeps the drives cool. It is specifically what it says it is, and performs as expected. Swapping out the fan is a bit cumbersome as it utilizes plastic rivets as an alternative of typical fan screws.
