Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case Black 4X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT *No PSU*
Cons:
The instructions for the cabling of the case is weak for a first time builder, and there should be less bays for Drivers and such (imo 3 max) and dump the rest into hard drives. 2 of the side fans you can't even use due to the space limitation when you put in another cooler. The backplate for the motherboard needs to be way bigger. You definitely need to take out your mobo to reinstall a CPU heatsink for some motherboards. I used the ASUS p755D.
Pros: Light, sturdy, customizable/better cable management than ALL other cases for a $80 price point. The X-Dock is a brilliant feature as well..I was able to salvage an old external hard drive that I thought was broken! |

Pre-ordered this case, and since then, I've never regretted doing so. This case is wonderful to work with. Lack of space is unheard of, and it has enough room for modern day 5870s with some room to spare. I'm 110% satisfied with my purchase. |

Got this Advanced version on a price match for 82 dollars. It can't be beat at that price. Cooler Master out did themselves on this one, selling a 200$ quality case for around the 82$-100$ depending where you shop. Impressive. |

Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case Black 4X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT *No PSU*
Cons:
Steel construction, no side glass panel.
Pros: Modular design, quality, thoughtful layout, paint finish. Comment:
I got this for my coworkers new rig that I'm putting together for him. Nice tool less front panel pull out for easy cleaning, HDD bays are clever modular, bottom section removes so that a second 140mm wide radiator can be installed. Comes with 2 140mm fans and a 120mm fan, only one is red led though. paint finish is excellent and tough. Lack of side glass panel is a bit annoying but nothing that can't be fixed with some modding. Very high quality design, shows that Cooler Master guys are thinking. Thoughtful quick detach E-sata on top of the case is a nice touch also. Once loaded it will be a bit on the heavy side though especially with 2 rads and the like. |

Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case Black 4X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT *No PSU*
Cons:
Bottom mounted PSU (can't put it on top, fans at the top of case)No clear windowHeavy and huge
Pros: Plenty of room and coolingAll black interiorTool-less baysExcellent cable management Comment:
At first, I was looking at a CM Elite 310 with extra fans setup. However, once I saw this on sale, I immediately ditched the old setup, and got this case. It had plenty of room with good cable management. Unfortunately, there isn't a side window to see and show off your components. This case also happens to have a SSD adapter, so that's a nice touch on Cooler Master's part, if you have one. This case is pretty heavy, even though I installed only the PSU. It's going to be a monster of a case when everything is installed. If you like extra cooling, but don't mind the sheer size and weight of this beast, go get yourself this case. |

Pros: Great looking casedescent cable managementhard drive sleds work wellpainted black interior is awesomegood quality build Comment:
This is the first case I've purchased in nine years. My old case was giving me severe heat issues and this new case is leaps and bounds better. It is a great case for the price. I've been looking at some bigger and more expensive cases for a while now but I'm not doing liquid cooling anytime soon so those caes (the 800D and the HAF X) were just to big and expensive for my needs. I happily settled for the CM 690II advanced and I'm glad I did. Great looking case, Great quality build and descent cable management. |

Cons:
This case, honestly, has no weakness's
Pros: - Looks amazing- Very nice price.-Very efficient at cooling- It has almost every feature a man could need.- Black interior is VERY nice looking Comment:
I've had this case for about 3 weeks, i used it for my first build, it was a toss up between this or the haf 922. I decided to go with this because it has the black interior finish. This case does NOT dissapoint ! Im not sure if ncix accedently sent me a $200 case by accedent, but this is just amazing ! It can potentially house VERY many fans (9 i believe). The vga cooler is neat too |

Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case Black 4X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT *No PSU*
Cons:
-cpu retention bracket hole is not lined up with my motherboard (crosshair iv formula)-heavy-no side window (can be ordered)-does not fit 59XX series cards, only 58XX
Pros: -good cable management features-lots of fans can be added on-dust filters-looks nice-ssd bracket-two dual rad possible (will come in handy later) Comment:
I bought this case not expecting too much since it was technically a cheaper case, I got it for around 80$! However to my amazement this case was much more than I expected. I think it has more potential than a HAF922 because it is more water-cooling friendly. Sad it cannot fit a 5970!Overall, great case I recommend it. |

Pros: lots of spacetool-less rackspainted interiornot so heavyintegrated sata dockone included 2.5" hdd adaptor Comment:
What an awesome case! The cable management is real easy with this case. But the space behind for the cable is very limited; you need to be creative to be able to close the side panel. The switch to close the front fan lights is nice, as is the sata dock and e-sata connector on the top. Lots of space for fans. |

This is a fantastic case. The cable managment is great and the airflow is near perfect. Its really just a case held together by fans. Everything about the case was really impressive. Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case Black 4X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT *No PSU*
Cons:
Heavy, removable HDD tray more hassle then its worth.
Pros: Solid build, multiple slots for fans, good air flow, large. Comment:
Very good case for the price. It is a bit heavy but there`s no need to move your case that much. It is large enough to fit what you need(using a non-modular power supply and still have a lot of space). I found the removable HDD tray more hassle then it is worth, but that is a minor setback. All in all, a great buy for $100. |

Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case Black 4X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT *No PSU*
Cons:
- Some plastic parts might break.
Pros: - Nice appearance.- Good cable management features.- Useful SATA dock on the top. Comment:
This is a fantastic case overall. Some cases have over-the-top, aggressive, or downright gaudy appearances. The simple and elegant look of this case is appreciated. The cable management features are great. There are holes for cables in all the right places, but they are not overly large so you can still keep unwanted cables hidden. If you have a non-modular power supply you might have some difficulty fitting all the cables behind the motherboard tray. The SATA dock on the top is extremely useful if you have old hard drives lying around, or if you just want to backup your system on to an external drive. The tool-less HDD cages and expansion bays are easy to use, but they are made of plastic so there is some concern that they might eventually break. |

Cons:heavy
Pros:Solid build, great air-flow, great customization, lots of slots for fan Comment:
I think this case is awesome, took me no time to put together my i5, corsair PSU, putting fans in. Great cable management, my case is clean! Nice touch with the hotswap SATA port on the outside, very convenient. The blue LED is awesome, matches my ASUS mobo, and intel branding. Nice option to be able to turn the case LED off too. One thing is that, the case is quite heavy after everything is inside; which also means the material is solid good quality. |

Hard to fault...
Comment:
Of all the features to applaud--and there are many--the mobo-tray cut-out for cpu coolers needs to be noted: it may or may not be of any practical use as some mobos simply cannot join the parade of progress. In my case, a Gigabyte P-55 mATX will nearly align itself, but for others... With that said, this case should be considered by those willing to spend in this range as the 690 Advanced offers plenty of functionality. (even allows for disabling the blue led on the front of the three included fans. A big plus in my opinion) |

Cons:so far only weakness of note is when using a regular hard drive in the hard drive cage you can hear it everythime its being accessed. Could come with 1 more upper case fan.
Pros:price, installations, great in looks, quiet, on/off for blue led on front fan, not much that is bad about this great case. Comment:
Great case with great price, easy with installs, fits radeon 5850 nicely. :)Only con I got is my cpu & motherboard temps went up 3-4c from my previous Antec 900 rev1. but I was running fans with full speed in that tower.Looking forward to getting some 240 mm rads for it next :D |

Great case at a great price
Comment:
After fretting over case after case and watching and reading dozens of reviews, this was the case I decided on. Am I glad I did! What a great value for the price. Very well made. The fit and finish was flawless. The toolless bays easy to use. And this site had this order at my doorstep in only two days. Only negative I can think of is the side panels are a little tough to remove, and it would have been great if CM would include a second top fan. This is a fantastic quality buy. Highly recommended. |

Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced ATX Mid Tower Case Black 4X5.25 1X3.5EXT 6X3.5INT *No PSU*
Cons:- no side fan dust filter- rear 120mm fan is a little loud- I found the side panels difficult to remove, especially the one behind the motherboard.- I can hear everything in the case since it's basically all mesh- could use a few less 5-1/4 drive bays
Pros:- cheap- decent build quality- lots of cooling options- was able to PM Comment:
Replaced my Antec Sonata II with this case, and my CPU temperatures dropped from 44 idle to 36 idle. My GPU temperature also dropped 2-3 degrees.Has decent cable management, and will fit a very long video card.Removable lower HDD cage is very nice as I only have 2 HDDs, improves the airflow significantly. Overall there were lots of holes for managing cable (but I did buy a modular PSU) and lots of filters for collecting dust. I would caution people though to make sure they examine where all the dust filters are, because I tore the big one on the bottom just by handling the case and now can't replace it.....The fans are also audible in the case, but it's more like someone half whispering half talking in the room, so just background noise level. I'm sure if you replaced it the case would just become whisper quiet. Other than that, my ASUS 5870 with the PCI connectors on the end fit with about 1 inch of clearance left, so I'm not really sure if a 5970 would fit. This is an overall good buy though and you get all the features of a more expensive case for cheap, while not compromising construction.
