Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:The fan gets a bit noisy over 1000Rpm
Pros:Best bang for the buck. Good crafting quality. Comment:
Overclocked a 2600k m 4.6ghz without problem. You can get some better heatsink, but not much more performance for more than twice the price.Pricematch at 30$, real deal. |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:none
Pros:Great cooler, low price Comment:
This cooler rivals expensive air coolers and onboard water coolers. Great for overclocking at half the price or better. If you want even more cooling replace the stock fan with this one SKU: 26749, and put the stock fan on the back. |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:- None
Pros:- Has features found in higher priced heat sinks for lower price- Very quiet Comment:
Bought this for my i7 2600k and have no problems at all. The assembly is kind of tricky but once you figure it out, it's really easy/fast to install. It has compatibility with both Intel and AMD which is nice and has the option of running dual fans. Overall great heat sink especially for the price (even better when it goes on sale). |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:-Tight fit around tall heat spreaders
Pros:-Way better than stock cooler Comment:
After market cooling manufacturers need to step up and take notice of the kind of performance Coolermaster is offering up here for the dollar. I don't need to go into all the review details posted everywhere but what I will say is do some homework and read the professional reviews along with ratings given by buyers and look for yourself. Exceptional bang for the buck here. |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:Didn't come with a person to apply the thermal paste for me!I hate that crap!
Pros:Quiet - it's a heatsink! ? Comment:
took my asus P8p67 pro temps down from almost 80 celcius on 4.2 oc while hardcore gaming, to 40- 42 degrees with a 4.7 ghz oc after four hours straight of COD gaming.Enough said, great cooler and with the extra fan for a push pull setup, cool as I could hope for without sounding like a jet engine. Happy now with the i5-2500k rockin at 4.7 and nice and cool.NCIX rocks as usual! |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:None
Pros:Very good at keeping my CPU temperatures low - idle: mid 30s and gaming mid 40s. Price is right - got it for around $30. Comment:
Very nice CPU cooler and heatsink for around $30. Matches up to the performance of the CM 212 Plus and other heatsinks which cost much more than $30. Temperatures at idle: 35 degrees Celsius. Temperatures gaming: 45 degrees Celsius. |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:Nope....
Pros:well build, good retention bracket, cheap price to pay for the result Comment:
install this for a friend in a Antec Sonata case, fits without any issue other than the bottom of the fan was touching the top of the Gskill Ripjaw heat spreader, i just install the fan a little higher, so nothing to go crazy, Fit on a Gigabytes P55AUD4P with i7 860Run 30min of Linpack h max and temps never went over 67deg.Cso really good performer plus the fan is a PWM one |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:base a little tricky to get right but for the price it's a non-issue
Pros:quiet, good cooling, well built Comment:
Bought this for an 2500K, keeps it very cool, haven't tried much overclocking yet as I just put it together. This unit had good reviews and for the $5 more than the 212 Plus seemed to be a good deal. Lives up to the reviews. Some found it hard to install, the base is a little tricky to figure out but not that hard. Pins were already set to the lga1155 position so didn't have to fool with that. Fan seems pretty quiet to me, I just have the 1 fan on it, it is blowing out the top of the case and there is a 140mm fan about 2" above it so don't feel I need 2 fans on it. I guess I'll find out when I play with the O/C a bit. A big step up from the Arctic Freeze Pro 7 I had on my last gaming rig. |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Quality product and performance for price. Lower fan speed for quiet performance given efficient cooling compared to stock Intel heatsink fan. Comment:
New rendition of long standing 212 series, with better direct heatpipe contact with CPU. Does the job of cooling off my i7 2600k with moderately O/C of 3.4ghz to 4.5ghz. Dropped idle temp about 10°-15°, and full load temp about 30°+ compared to the crappy stock Intel heatsink fan. I can get away with using the silent CPU fan setting of my MB and tempts peak at 60° max. |

Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM
Cons:none
Pros:Quite, Lowers Temps, Extra Fan Mount, use any 120mm fan Comment:
Installed with my AMD Phantom II BE 550 Unlocked 3cores and over clocked. went from 36c to 30C very good results. |
replaced a closed loop water cooler with this. installation instructions were quite poor, but it's mostly obvious how to go about doing it. Temps are solid under load. It's not the quietest cooler I've ever owned, but wouldn't say it's loud either. it's a big item so check your case clearnace to be sure. fit no problem into a HAF912.
