I had a 40mm fan on an old video card that began making loud noises. I bought this one hoping to unscrew the old one and put that one instead. The screws were not the same size so I ended up gluing this fan on my video card's heatsink. I must say I'm really happy with this silent fan since I installed it. It glows blue, it's cheap and silent... I would recommend it for anyone. |
Bought this to replace the north bridge on both of my gigabyte p45 boards, there is really no need for it since I don't overclock I just wanted the nice blue fan. But if you were to be overclocking this would be a great addition, I never checked both machines but in the one it did drop my NB temps by around 12-15c which is impressive for this little thing. Overall I love it in my case as I love blue lighting and this makes me happy.
