Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:The drivers are a bit glitchy. It's a bit on the heavy side.
Pros:Excellent feel, excellent feedback clicks, good pressure sensitivity. Quality feel and build. Comment:
Cooler Master did an excellent job on this keyboard. There are more expensive option out there, but you would be hard pressed to find a more expensive mechanical keyboard that would beat this one. The weight is perfect. This keyboard will not move as it is very heavy. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:A bit presumptive to disable Windows Key out of the box. Price.
Pros:Backlighting modes, good construction, nice feel on key caps. Comment:
Coming from lots of time on ThinkPads, these Cherry MX Brown switches have the perfect increase in travel, while keeping a light actuation and quick response. Selectable regions and brightness for backlighting are nice features. The key cap font is reasonably legible. The extra 5V DC for the USB ports feels odd and tacked on. Not sure when that would come in useful. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:No "Windows Key" by default. Can be programmed after the fact. It's BIG and HEAVY. May be a con for some but not for me.Backlight is RED. Looks OK but I would have liked white a little better.
Pros:Quality construction. Great backlit keys. Non-slip base. Programmable keys/macros. Great price after rebate (fingers crossed!). Comment:
This is my first mechanical keyboard in the last 15 Yrs. or so. Quite a different feel but I already am getting used to it and really like it. Much more positive feedback and no SPONGY MUSHY keys like on a couple of my Logitech (MX5500) and Microsoft keyboards. I can never go back to those after getting used to this one. Has provision for additional 5V. input to give you two more brightness levels (NOT needed - plenty bright already!) and provide additional power for the built in USB hub. Not need for mice or flash cards but may be of value if you want to hook up a 2-1/2" hard drive via USB.All in all, I am quite pleased with the purchase and am delighted with the apparent quality of the keyboard. Well done CM. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:-Does not come with 5V power cable to give the KB enough power to run the usb hub.-Keycaps font is ugly-CM Storm software runs on startup and prevents use of KB for around 30~. seriously butcher boot-up time just because you can't use the KB.
Pros:-Well built-Durable-Cherry MX browns-Keys are on very tight and stable (a lot of other mechanical KB has keys that shake or fiddle around a bit, loosely)-USB hub with 2 usb slots Comment:
Important things to note: KB is well built, has ugly keycap font, software sucks and you have to wait 30- seconds at startup for the software to do its "thing", doesn't come with a 5V power cable to power up the USB hub. Just don't install the software, and buy a 5V power cable and you're good to go. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:-USB hub instead of passthrough-No audio passthrough
Pros:-All keys Programmable-Great Build Quality-Good wrist rest-Onboard memory- Comment:
This is my new keyboard of choice.I bought a blackwidow ultimate stealth 3 months ago and ended up spilling soda all over it one day. When looking for a keyboard i had very specific requirements in looking for a new one. Backlit, MX brown, 5 macro keys and the ability to re-program all keys. That last one is the tricky requirement which no other vendors offer. This keyboard and the BW ultimate stealth were the only 2 keyboard on the market that met my requirements. I went with this keyboard mainly because it offers on-board memory instead of could-based memory. The only problems I found were the usb ports will not power my razer taipan laser mouse without the extra power adapter, and the lack of 3.5" audio passthrough(irrelevent for me).I will be suggesting this keyboard to all of my friends! |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:- Took me a couple days to get used to the macro keys being there.
Pros:- Fully Mechanical - Cherry MX Brown switches - Costar Board- Strong sturdy design- 2 USB 2.0 ports- Nice design- 5 Macro keys- Red backlighting Comment:
First mechanical keyboard and I am very satisfied with it. The brown switches are good for both typing and gaming, and make a satisfying click (and it's not as loud as blues). It took me a couple of days to get used to the keyboard, but now I type even faster and more accurately than before. Feels good man. I highly recommend this or quick fire rapid as they are both costar boards, not iOne like the quick fire pro. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:Requires separate and not included power adapter to provide power to USB ports and maximum LED brightness which isn't much of a issue as the LED's are bright enough.
Pros:Mechanical Cherry MX Brown switchesRed LED Back-lightTwo USB ports Comment:
Switched over from a Mionix zibal 60 with Cherry MX Black switches which was nice but I missed the tactical response from cherry blue switches but wanted a keyboard that didn't sound like a typewriter going off when typing so cherry browns were the obvious choice. The Soft-Tactical feel of the brown switches offers responsive feedback for typing and gaming with quiet operation.Only downside of the keyboard is it requires a separate power adapter to provide power to the two USB ports and allow all the five levels of brightness for the LED back-light, Without it you are limited to four levels of brightness which isn't such a big deal since they are pretty bright without it.The 5 Macro keys work well and the software is pretty straight forward for programming macro's or assigning different functions to keys. 64kb of onboard memory allow profiles to be saved to the keyboard so you can easily move it to different computers and only need to install the software to use it.Unlike some keyboards every key on the CM trigger is a mechanical switch.Great mechanical keyboard with red LED back-light that's a dream to type on, Would highly recommend for those looking for a mechanical keyboard with back-light and macro keys over anything from logitech for gaming or late night typing. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:Doesn't come with 5VDC power supply for USB hubSoftware is very detailed so it's hard to make quick macrosCan't re-map the F keys
Pros:Excellent typing feelEasy to see backlit keysSolid constructionRubber feet and edges prevent keyboard from movingOnboard memory to store macros and key-mapping Comment:
I bought this as a typing keyboard (not a gaming keyboard) to use at work. I send and receive a number of e-mails daily, and generally have to do a lot of typing. The tactile feel of the keys is wonderful, and the sound is much less annoying in an office environment than some of the cherry-blue razers around the office. The media keys are a nice bonus as I listen to a lot of music at work and often have to pause or mute. The macro keys are great for keystrokes and commands I use often, and are easy to reach.I haven't tried it for gaming, but for anyone looking for a good typists keyboard, I highly recommend it. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:None
Pros:Durable, feels great, love brown switches Comment:
Love everything about this keyboard, the rubber keys feels good.Using this for a while now, the browns are great as they don't seem as stiff as blacks. About the back light issue where people say that they don't light up the bottom of the words, IMO you don't really need to see them in the dark. I think the backlight is fine if they did try to light up the whole key it would make it uneven and have "spillage". |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:Only top half of each key is backlit.
Pros:Well Made, Bright Backlight, Amazing keys, customizable macros Comment:
Finally got my Trigger in yesterday, and a lot of people seem interested, so just wanted to share a few notes... One of the gripes in the reviews was a lack of a Windows key... you should know that the latest software lets you toggle it to function as a windows key. There is a second "Coolermaster" button on the right side that you can use to change profiles, adjust backlight settings, ro record on the fly macros. This was almost a deal breaker for me, since I use the Windows Key alot for shortcuts, so I was really happy to see this already fixed. One of the settings just lights up the WASD, Arrow and Macro keys too, which is really cool. The brightness of the backlighting... some people were griping because the specs say you can use a non-included AC adapter to give more juice to the usb ports and brighten the backlight... I can tell you, you do NOT need it! I'm using it now in a fully lit room and its TOO bright. WAY brighter than the Logitech G15 I just replaced's red backlight. Third, the rubber coated MX Cherry Browns... Awesome. Just awesome. One quirk I noticed is the backlighting only lights the top half of the key... so for the number row, the number is lit, but the ! p # $ % under each number isn't. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. Oh and it stinks. literally... had a really odd rubbery smell when I took it out of the box. Seems to be going away now. Overall, I am really glad I held out for this keyboard, it's worth the wait and the cost for me. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:Micro USB connector plugNo settings to pick which key to light up
Pros:WeightLEDMX Brown SwitchesMacrosSoft touch wrist rest and keyboardNo windows key (can be turned on via software)Every key is mechanical, unlike the Corsair K90/K60 Comment:
When I got this, I was surprised by the shear weight of the keyboard. Nearly doubled of my previous membrane keyboard (Saitek Eclipse III)The wrist rest and the keyboard base has a a nice soft touch feel to it, much like Bitfenix cases are. The angled feet are also in a sift rubber, which is a nice touch. The LED has 4 settings (5th is by ac power), has a very nice glow. You have 3 settings, all on, all off or WASD/Macro/Arrtow keys lit.The software is easy to use and set up macros with. 5 is more than enough.I will be getting 0.2mm 40A-L O-Rings to dampen the bottoming out sound. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:None for me.
Pros:Very responsive, well designed, functional and good looking. Comment:
Coming from a first generation G15, the Trigger just feels much more responsive, it's more compact and the backlighting looks stunning. This might just be the best backlit mechanical keyboard in the 120 CAD price class. |

Coolermaster Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard USB W/ Cherry Brown Key Switch
Cons:The USB connections are a little loose , you have to dig or push in the USB cable harder than normal.
Pros:Great Product, 2 USB's , Great Backlighting and awesome Cherry MX Browns Comment:
The keys are amazing almost as same as the Filco browns, they are soft and quiet responsive as the browns should be , Overall an awesome keyboard for gaming and typing , |
The Storm Trigger is a great Cherry MX brown mechanical gaming keyboard for the price. It looks great, performs well, and is of high quality. The lack of a headset pass-though is a bit of a missed opportunity, however.
