Coolermaster Tpc 812 Direct Contact 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA775/1366/1155/1156/2011 120MM Fan
Cons:Pictorial instructions could use more descriptive texts
Pros:Very impressive looking unit Comment:
I broke one of the stand-off legs during installation and the unit has been sitting on the bench waiting for the replacement part from Cooler Master. It has been shipped but has not arrived yet. The whole unit seems of very good quality so I guess I must have used too much torque when tightening the nut to the stand-off leg. So use tightening tools lightly during installation. |
VERY GOOD COOLER, keeps my i5 3570k cool at 22 celcius (exactly room temperature) at 12% usage or so. Havent overclocked yet as i've only had the system for a few days (BUT I WILL).I do suggest you follow the instructions and try to assemble the standoff pegs into the mounting bracket completely aside from everything before trying any kind of installation (the holes on the mounting bracket were a tad small and took a little work to get standoffs through) All in all a great cooler and will be adding a second fan to it soon for overclocking purposes.
