Decent CPU cooler
Comment:
There was definably some thought behind the design of this cooler, somebody also thought about bad case design and negative air flow, it's clear in the design it's built to negate for a lot of bad design principles people take when building computers. I have the same experiences as a lot of other people, this fan is able to keep my CPU at an idle of 30c-40c and maxes at about 60-65c on utilization. The only problem I had with it is the fact I have an inverse board so the logo is actually upside down and I can't adjust it so it looks right when I open up my case :( |

I recently built my new pc.. evga x58 sli le mobo, i7 920, 6 ghz of ocz 1600mhz memory.. and the v10..... oc'd this beast right away to 4.5 ghz.. idle temps 30-40 under load 50-65. Stable and rock solid. Cooler looks nice and performs great.. plenty of room to install ram too.. unless its really tall ram or something.... fans are quiet on high .... and i believe are 2200 rpm rated which is pretty good... |

Good product
Comment:
Oh it's big, you must have a lot of space to put it in, quite hard to install since it cover the memory and some connectors, it must be install before mounting the motherboard in the case. The processor and memory stay realy cool. A must have for over clocking but quite pricy! |

Looks great works great. My 2.66 I7 is at 3.7 Ghz and never hits 40c. Did hit 45c when I had it running at 4.3 Ghz. Runs 34c idle and 36c gaming. Fantastic. |

Better than Liquid Cooling

Cooler Master V10
Comment:
Really large, but costs nearly double the 3-4 coolers that out perform it, by up to 7 degrees C. If cooler Master would use a larger TEC and variable, rather than just on or off control it could be worth the extra 65 bucks. The Prolimatech Megahalems costs @ $65, if you can find it and have a deep enough case. |

This Cooler rocks my socks off !!!
Comment:
I have to start out by saying this thing ROCKS... I thought that my Ultra Chilltec kept things cool, boy was I sadly mistaken. This cooler keeps my Core i7 @ 38˚OC to 4.199 GHZ. All I can say is WOW.... |

It runs my Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0ghz at 27C. stable voltage. Hell of a lot better than my old fan, i give it my thumbs up. It's just hugely bulky, so be sure to have a case that will fit it. |

Great Product frm Coolermaster
Comment:
U dont really have to remove ur motherboard from your case. I installed within 5 mins and had my system back and running and kept my CPU cooler by 10c and my ram cooler by 7c. Great Product! |

Huge but worth it.
Comment:
This thing is very big, you must remove your motherbaord from your case and remove most wires if you want to put this bad boy in. Covers most of the top half of your motherboard. |

I'm guessing the guy below is talking about fahrenheit not celsius.... |
This cools better than all the stock and non-stock coolers I have tried. But... my 550 watt power supply was not enough for it and other components (1366 mother board with overclocked intel cpu and geforce 9600 graphics card). So... now I have ordered a 1000 watt PS and a replacement dvd burner that went bad when I switched power leads between it and the cooler.
