Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:the pump

Pros:works decent, cheap sometimes
Comment:
Had this for 6 months now. The pump made clicking noises after a few hours use. After a month or so it got quiet. Now it makes noises randomly. I modified mine. I ripped the silver shield off, flipped the pump, and add 2 antec tricools to it. Keeps my overclocked q9550 very cool, 30C idle nad never breaks 65 on stress test(OCCT). I was impressed in the end. I recommend this if you can get it cheap. I paid $49 for mine and $15 for another fan. Then I mounted it to a fan in my antec 1200.

Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:not really made for overclocking .. better suited for a computer that has a noisy fan and you want to quiet it down

Pros:got it on sale for $39.99 so price was the reason I got itseems to work ok on non overclocked system
Comment:
not a bad product .. but it might not be what most people expect . I'm happy with it because water cooling costs so much .. it's a good intro to watercooling and I will try something more adventurous next time

Cons:Pump is not working

Pros:It cools the CPU very goodStrengths PerformancePrice On SaleRMA process
Comment:
At first, it works very good for cool down the CPU so much. But after two week, pump is not working. So it is risk to use this product. But the RMA process is very good. They have someone talk to you the whole time. I was able to get refund of the unit( Thanks NCIX )and buy another air cool unit : cooler master V8 by ncix againFor the hassle of likely getting a broken one it's not worth it. Just get an direct touch air cooler and the performance is comparable. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-19-09 08:36 AM

Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:Inconsistent sound levels, no better than air cooling unless under load

Pros:Solid cooling, particularly under load, no problems with installation
Comment:
Ordered it while on sale and it definitely has its pluses and minuses.Installation took a good hour for me due to having to remove the motherboard, and then it was a bit cramped in the case when putting it on. No big deal. Worked on first boot like a charm. After the first boot, there was a significant amount of noise coming from the box. I figured i'd give it some time and after about 16-24 hours, when I got back from work the next day, it was noticeably quieter. Unfortunately, it was still louder than my air cooling (S1283 on a Phenom 9850 BE) (when not under load) and performed roughly the same.36degrees with Coolit, 34 with air.Under load however is where this thing shines. Air cooling would bring the cpu up to the 70-75 degree range when doing some serious number crunching, but with the Pure, it didn't go a hair over 55 even after hours of use with no noticeable increase in noise. To me this is amazing but then again it's my first time playing with water cooling.Problem is, this box is rarely under severe stress unless its transcoding/recoding media. If everything stayed like this, I'd have no problems giving this a 4/5 or 5/5. Unfortunately, the noise factor is a hit or miss. There are times when this thing will gargle excessively for 2-3 hours at a time and then return back to the tolerable level. I was honestly expecting it to be much quieter as the manual clearly made it sound like I should have to touch it to confirm it's on.

I was pleasantly surprised that this unit worked right away without any problems. After reading forum entries I thought it would be a bummer but not so far. Cools great.

Cons:Pump defect on most units

Pros:-Silent Fan-Cheap-quiet (when it was working)-bezel (coolit logo part) looks nice
Comment:
Had it for a bit, pump started to make noises like everyone complained about. after one NCIX rma, pump still makes noises. Will RMA to coolit afterwards which they will replace with a domino

Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:Not meant for intensive OCs or anything like that.

Pros:A good 'intro' to WC and an upgrade for the stock cooler.
Comment:
I ordered this when it was a really good deal, it was a good intro for Watercooling - it got me to invest into my first real loop. I woudn't recommend this for anything just a tiny OC as it crumbles pretty well at high loads + oc

Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:Wouldn't use it to cool a high end quad core

Pros:Great price, easy installation, decent cooling
Comment:
Good little unit. Using it to cool a "e" efficient dual core AMD (AM2) and it works great. I wouldn't use this to cool my uber overclocked system or anything but for a basic system this is a great alternative to a air cooler.

Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:Instruction installations poor

Pros:Less noisy than fan, reasonably easy installation.
Comment:
Water cooling system is adequate. Keeps my processor at around 65 C under full load crunching Seti units all day. Fan is fairly cool but sometimes grinds a little. Installation was somewhat easy, would have been much easier installing into a new system as I had to pretty take my motherboard off the tray to remove the socket mechanism. Only major complaint was that the diagrams in the installation manual showing the way they wanted the retaining bars to hold the CPU block in place needed to be bigger, as they are they are somewhat difficult to make out what is expected. Was a steal of a deal at $50 after shipping charges but regular price is a bit high. Watch for it on sale to make it truly worth it.

Cons:Pump problems

Pros:PerformancePrice On SaleRMA process
Comment:
I purchased the unit for silence but unfortunately my pump was a failure and made a grinding sound. The performance was very good though, and knocked my temps down over 25 degrees. So far the RMA process is very good. They have someone talk to you the whole time. I opted to have it replaced with a domino which will be nice when I get it.For the hassle of likely getting a broken one it's not worth it. Cons:is a little bit louder than the antec tricool it replacedtubes could have been a little longer to make installation easierbig metal thing interfered with antec 1200 side fan mount

Pros:keeps my computer nice and cool under loadwas relatively easy to install
Comment:
at first i was dissapointed since my idle temperatures didnt change at all, but then when I put it under load I noticed that it barely jumped in temperature at all. and after several hours of gaming the temperatures remained low. The pump is a little louder than I was hoping for, but Im willing to live with it. as well, installation was a bit of a pain with the tubes being just slightly too short to rest the radiator on my hard drive bays while I mounted the waterblock. But then again I do have a very large case (antec 1200). Also the shiny piece of metal with the coolit logo interferes with the side fan mount on the 1200. Ive been running my case open the past few days wondering whether to remove the metal thing or break off the clip... but all in all it was a great buy, and Id definitely get it again.

overall on sale it's a good alternative to an air cooler. Not the performance of a high end.. but it doesn't cost it either. Suffice to say on sale it's worth buying.

Comment:
Great product, easy install except i could not put the side panel on of the CM 330 - I was planning on cutting a window anyway and the plexi glass flexed enough to fix the problem.I keeps the e5200 overclocked to 3 gHz at 43 C at full load - good stuff

Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:Louder than I anticipatedsometimes makes my case window rattle

Pros:Cheap when on saleBetter than stock
Comment:
For the surprise sale price it is good. I would have not purchase it if it were full price or any more than I paid.It eats up a bunch of space in my case and has created a bit of a mess with my wiring (just wasn't easy to run 4 pin power to it and still keep it hidden). It looks alright in the case but wasn't exactly what I pictured. It sits in a Hiper Anubis case.Performance at idle seems to be almost the same as the stock E5200 fan but occasionally one or two degrees lower. Running Prime95, temps have dropped about 7 degrees so that's what I was looking for. This is with an intel e5200, stock voltage running at 3ghz (12.5x multiplier / 240 fsb). I have not played with higher clock speeds yet.Installation went fairly well and didn't take as long as I thought it would. All you have to do is pull the video card, pci devices, mobo, stock hsf, and rear fan.It isn't much quieter than the stock HSF. The pump sounds a lot like a fish tank water pump and is no where near silent, but it is fairly quiet as the other three fans mostly drown it out in noise. It started to vibrate my case just so that the mesh over the plexiglass window on the side was rattling. An annoyance, but it's not a big deal since it's easy to fix.

Before I purchased this item, I asked if it has the right braces/brackets for a s939 motherboard (asus a8n32sli). I was told by their rep both in a post here and in an email that it does. You guys can see it in one of the threads in this product. So yesterday, I was about to install the thing but couldn't find the right brackets so I called tech support, I was told by another rep it's NCIX's fault not sending the bracket (ouch Ncix). I was also asked to pay an extra shipping fee for a bracket that might work.I expected too much. Disappointed.I'll change the star count when I actually used the product. Coolit Systems [PURE] Lc Maintenance Free Pre Filled CPU Water Cooling Solution LGA775/AM2
Cons:-Noisy-too much thermal paste!-very large for most cases-forget it if you have a side fan in your case

Pros:Looks good, well packaged
Comment:
Easy to install however I would recommend using your own thermal paste like AS5, the pre-applied paste is excessive in my opinion and oozed over the sides of the processor. While the cooling was somewhat satisfactory it was not as good as what I replaced (zalman CNPS9500) which would keep my q6600 running at 3.2Ghz idle 28c and full sustained load around 65cIn addition it’s louder than any fan assisted cooler I have ever encounted, I know some users have added coolant to stop the noise but why should you on a “maintenance free” unit as described. Save your money and go with a better liquid cooling solution or stick with a decent air cooler (it will more than likely get you the same results.

Cons:Large cover may not compatible with some case.

Pros:Easy installation
Comment:
Although you have to remove the motherboard before installing, the whole process is still very easy. Should take you no more than 30 minutes. Performance is not bad, about 3~8C lower than stock. And of course, very quiet. The down side is there is no speed control for the fan. But I will not complain as this is really an entry level model. But the large cover makes it not compatible with my Antec 900, because of the fan holder on the side window. Some modification is required if you want to put it on. And I looked at my TT Armor (with the 25mm side fan), and am pretty sure same thing would happen for that case. Cons:Loud, Bulky, heavy, noisy

Pros:no good weak product.
Comment:
I am terribly dissatisfied with this cooler. It is loud and noisy. liquid coolers are supposed to be quiet and efficient but this cooler is loud and it doesn't offer great cooling over traditional cpu coolers on the market. A good air cooler would do a better job and cost less than this cooler. Buyer beware if you want superior cooling and quiet is not available with this cooler.

Pros:works well,easy to install, quiet
Comment:
it keeps my cpu cool but it is very large so after i installed it i watched the cpu temp go down and the motherboard, gpu, hdd, went up cause i couldnt fit any fans besides the one on the pure it to move the hot air out.so i had to make new holes and install a few fans to get the air flow and now everything is running cooler than when i had my stock intel cpu cooler on. about a 10C difference.NCIX is a great place to order from.very ligit, safe and fast service,i ordered my part on a tuesday and recieved it on thursday,2 days to travel well over 4000 kms. thanks NCIX
