Very pleased
Comment:
Prior to receiving this power supply I did extensive research on it. It is very high quality using the best components. The unit is advertised at 1000 watts, but I belive it is much higher. After receiving it I totally agree, it is very quiet and after connecting my components I have lots of room to expand in the future. I highly recommend this power supply. |

Great Power Supply
Comment:
I switched to Corsair power supplies some time ago from another major vendor on all my new builds and have never regretted it. Their high quality and power distribution system makes for a solid system build without extra cables taking up valuable case real estate. |

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:MIR Time
Pros:INTENSE. So many cables. Comment:
Besides the MIR which I will eventually receive. The amount of cables is amazing. I have ran out of a few of them however I sent an email to a corsair person to request more modular cables. This is my first modular power supply and it's a BEAST in my Antec 1200 setup. VERY GOOD. |

Cons:-None
Pros:-Loads of power for the money-It's a Corsair product-Comes with lots of cables Comment:
This PSU gives the user excellent value for the money, and is an excellent choice when it's on sale. It comes with a handy storage bag to keep all the leftover cables in after you're done building your system. For those with a see-through side on their case, it looks sleek and oozes power with the bright blue printing on its sides.Get it if you've got the money for it - it's got lots of room for all those power-hungry bits in your machine, and then some! |

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:price, size can be an issue for some.
Pros:Solid Construction, modular design, black flat cables, only 2 +12v rails. Comment:
It's been a fantastic Power supply, running an OC'd Tri-SLI setup flawlessly, 6 hard drives, as well as a very power hungry motherboard (EVGA x58 classified) and of top of it powering a very high overclock (i7 920 e 4.2 Ghz) Highly Recommended for anyone running a lot of hardware. |

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:None
Pros:QuietStableModularPowerfullMade by corsair5 years warranty Comment:
Another top of the line product from Corsair. This monster runs good, stable and quiet. It powers my i7 rig with two 4890 and I still have a lot of juice leftover. Whatever is in your computer, this bad boy will power it with no problem at all. I recommend this PSU to anyone who needs a good amount of juice and is not on a budget. It's on the pricey side so get it while on rebate to make it an even better deal. |

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:-the fan (the only thing that is not made by corsair on the unit) crapped out on me after 2 years of good use. The power supply ran without problem, even without the fan for a long time, with thermals never over 40*C (25 ambient) Anyways, Corsair had it replaced in no-time and even gave me a free t-shirt :)
Pros:-QUIET-CLEAN POWER-POWER POWER POWER!!!!-Thermals are low-Modular glory-Stable as a rock Comment:
What can i say? It's the most quiet, powerful, and stable power supply that i have EVER owned. The power is clean, and very linear (good thing), the thermal fan is always quiet (it never heats up),and I am running 8GB of ram, 4 hard drives, 2 GTX280's and an antec 1200 full of fans. THIS THING WILL NOT BE TOPPED OFF!!!I have hacked a modular molex connector to get 12v to an rc-car battery charger, and the charger shows a constant 12.2 volts. PERFECT! and I have had alot of stuff turn on in the house, such as the washing machines, the lights dimmed before full power was restored, but this power supply kept the energy coming in spades. Hell, I have tried to short-circuit this thing (for testing purposes) and power was shut off FAST. No problems, I even accidentally spilled water inside my case (onto q9450 and gtx 280 :[ ) and this power supply shut the power off before any dammage was done. After letting a day for the computer to dry, guess what? IT WORKS!!! This is hands down the best and only power supply that you will ever have to buy in your life!Get this one, and you will NEVER be dissapointed. |

I've just completed the build of a new system. The mobo is an Asus Rampage II with 12Gb of RAM. The first PSU I tried was an Ultra X3 1600W. The unit would not operate with the Asus board. My second attempt to add power was to use the Corsair PSU. Thus far this unit has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this unit for powering even the most powerful computers. |

Great item
Comment:
Got two Nvidia 295 working just fine with lots of other engergy hungry devices. I'm ignoring the 46a requirement, but it works fine in 4x sli. Very stable power and dual rails is nice touch. modular features allow less wire clutter. Not desgined for super duper gaming, but will do with skill. Prob works better than some other 1600watt power supplies. |

Plenty of power, the modular system makes hook up a breeze and really helps with the clutter of all those extra plug and wires. Quiet, sturdy, powerful. As always... TigerDirect ROCKS! |

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:None
Pros:ModularQuietVery EfficientLong Cables Comment:
This PSU is a wonderful unit that anyone with a high powered computer should consider purchasing, I don't need a 1kW PSU right now so it is absolutely silent. I'm sure that when I finish my upgrades this PSU will be enough to power anything else I want to throw at it.Right now I have it powering an Intel i7 920 and an XFX 5870 and it runs them both magnificently. |

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:I guess i would have liked the cables coming out of the opposite side since my case is bottom mounted. Very minor as the cables are quite long.
Pros:Solid powerTons of modular cables, some with 2 connections or 4Long cablesLooksQuality Comment:
I recently bought this to upgrade from an NZXT psu i bought when the 1000w's first came out.The NZXT was whining when i booted and doing various tasks from what i understand is from cheap capacitors. The HX1000w has high quality capacitors. The HX1000w has no such problems. Nice and quiet.I modded by Antec 900 case for cable management and this power supply was awesome to work with. I could pick and choose what cables i wanted, depending on how many connections i needed on them. The cables are nice and long and i do like the flat cable design.Do your research, read all of the glowing reviews this PSU has gotten. Well worth the money i paid. Got it on sale here at NCIX. Worth the full price. The way i see it is, i may only need an 850w for my current system but i'll have the juice if i add anything else to it. And it runs better and quieter if i'm not using the full 1000w anyways. |

Cons:Very large and not the best in smaller cases

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:None.
Pros:Great built qualityGood solid modular systemHeavy duty, silent and cool. Comment:
This power supply can run an i7 920 OCed to 4GHz, 2 HD5870 in CrossfireX and a slew of other peripherals and it never whines, gets hot, or even let itself get heard. Absolutely silent, insanely clean power output, and could have been used as a morning star by medieval knights if required, as it's as solid (and heavy) as a concrete block.Whatever you decide to build, this power supply will power it. |

Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply
Cons:none
Pros:Enough to power anything you can throw at itExcellent warrantyFrom Corsair Comment:
I became a fan of Corsair when I bought a 620HX from them, and I was really impressed by the quality of the PSU. I decided to upgrade to this PSU because I plan on running 2 4870x2's, besides that my rig consists of the following:ASUS Maximus Formula8GB DDR2 800MHzIntel QX94504870x24x120MM fans1.5TB SATA HDD3x500GB SATA RAID 0ASUS Xonar DX1xDVD-RWI had no issues putting the PSU in my case, which is a Cooler Master Cosmos 1000. If you are planning to get this PSU, make sure your case is big enough. If you are buying this, then you have to be an extreme enthusiast and you better have a case that can hold this bad boy. |
Great power supply. Kicks out a ton of consistent reliable power if need be, and with the modular cables you can power as much or as little as you need and keep the clutter down.Cables are a decent length, and routing most everything behind the mobo to keep the system clean was never a problem or a stretch.
