Purchased this to upgrade my friend's old 350W power supply since he's moved to the new Athlon A8 series of chips. Installation was easy and cable management was quick and tidy.Power supply puts out a good amount of power and runs ever so quietly...Would definitely recommend for any upgrades. |

I've bought a number of these Corsair CX units to replace failed power supplies in older systems. So far I haven't had even the slightest problem with them. I'm glad to see we have a modular option now! Sometimes the older cases are so tight that it's a real pain in the rear to get everything looking nice and neat with all the unused cables. With the CX500M, you have ATX and EPS non modular and the rest is all modular.ATX Connector x 1EPS Connector x 1PCI-E Connector x 24 Pin Peripheral Connector x 4SATA Connector x 5Floppy Connector x 1Will update review if anything changes but I'm very happy with this Power supply for now. |
