Power supply just died today, A year and a half of ownership, always admitted a whine from the start even when off. Really wanted to put together this build on a budget, I guess corsairs builders lineup is just a bit too cheap. Seemed like good build quality. Turned it on, a loud hum then a couple seconds later POP, a spark came from inside the unit and smoke out the back. Not too impressed. |
Bought this about a year ago to replace an old no-name that was dying, kinda wish I went with a modular PSU but hey, live and learn! Very reliable, quiet and cool.
