Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
Cons:-umm...no 3.5" bay for a floppy drive...I guess?
Pros:-proper cable management passages-solid construction-great platform for case modding Comment:
I got this case to replace the old 2000 era beige box case I barely crammed my PC into. After moving to this case, all of my temps are at least half of what they used to be and I have tons of room to add onto my PC. Within 3 days of purchasing, I was happy enough to make the case "mine" by chopping it up and void'ing my warranty. My bottom 5.25 bay now has a slot cut for the IR receiver for my RGB LED strip and I have the cuts marked out for a window on the side panel.I gave this case 5 stars because I plan on doing drastic mods. If you want a case that's ready to go out of the box then I would suggest the next higher tier from Corsair. If case mods are your thing then stock up on this one. |

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
Cons:could use usb 3.0 to 2.0 converter for front port
Pros:Good airflow, room for 10 fans, decent cable management, can fit a 240 rad in push or pull(depending on mb layout) Comment:
Built 3 different systems with this case, pretty much perfect for any kind of set up, and the price can't be beat for the feature in my opinion. this is my go to case for cheap builds, and even some expensive ones. had no issue with quality, superb. |

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
Cons:Broken hard drive retention arm nub.
Pros:Nice clean looking case. Lots of room and well finished. Excellent transaction from NCIX.com with fast shipping. Comment:
Arrived with detached hard drive retention arm. It appears one of the two plastic nubs that hold the arm in place is broken off.It likely happened during assembly by the manufacturer. Returning the case doesn't really make sense due to the shipping cost, so I guess I'll have to eat it. |

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
Cons:Front panel is USB 3.0 only.
Pros:Well built, affordable case. Room for 4 SSD's with tool-free installation! Nice cable management at back of case (a bonus for a case in this price range). Attractive minimalist design. Built to take (one) VERY long PCI-e card (full length of the case). Comment:
This is an awesome case - affordable, well-built, and a joy to put together. It has a lot of the bells and whistles you expect in a modern case - PSU at the bottom of the case, room for cable management at the back of the case, a place to install one or more SSD's, a large cutout behind the Motherboard tray to adjust backplate brackets (if necessary). This is replacing an Antec 200, and the designs are like night and day (inside). The only thing the 200 has that this doesn't is a removeable 3.5" SATA hotswap bay (which is nice). |

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
Cons:For the price there isn't a better case. Therefore no real complaints. If you want more features and better quality then you have to pay for it.
Pros:Corsair H100 barely fits.Plenty of air flowextra fan portsEnough room to route all my wires behind motherboard trayPlenty of room for high end graphics cards Comment:
I got it for $40 after rebates. Has everything I needed fopr a budget gaming rig plus a lot extras that I wouldn't expect for a $40 case. The only real complaint I had was I ad to install the fans for the H100 outside of the case and had to drill out the 140mm holes so that I could route the fan cables. I was amazed it fit at all. My Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5-TH heatsinks barely cleared the H100 as the heatsinks are on the edge of the board. But most all motherboards will have something in the way to clear the fans being internally mounted. Even Server boards wouldn't work as the have memory and/or 24-pin power connector on that side.Again, for $40 you won't find a better gaming case. even at $70 retail price, it will be hard to match. |

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
Cons:Not sure if an H100 would clear your RAM but the mounting holes are there.
Pros:Great case for $60. Comment:
Can't go wrong for the price. Very solid. Was curious after reading good reviews. Would buy another without hesitation.Has room for 4 HDDs, 4 SSDs, and 3 Optical. And large GPU.Even has mounting holes for an H100...but I went with the new H60. |

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Gaming Case ATX 3X5.25 4X3.5 Front USB3.0 Audio No PSU
Cons:No front eSATA. Front USB is 3.0 only
Pros:Cheap. Roomy. Easy to work with. Comment:
Bought this to replace an aging CM 690 case that was badly beat up. At this price, I can't complain. Nice features include: roomy interior space to work with, cutout MB backplate, plenty of slots for cable management, easy to use front panel connectors, built in 2.5" SSD mounting bracket. Some quirks to note. The HDD cage and the SSD cage are oriented perpendicular, making the routing of power cables sometimes difficult. The front air intake is a vented to the sides of the panel. Their is an dust filter only for the bottom PSU air intake.Case has plenty of fans mounts, though I only used the two stock fans included. Easily fits 7870 GPU with room to spare. In short, a budget case with excellent features, for the serious PC enthusiast, who doesn't need flasy LED lights. Quiet and discreet. |
I bought this on sale as an open box for a decent price. I really like the look of it, it reminds me of the black monolith from 2001: A Space Oddysey. This case is very no-nonsense and everything about it is straight forward. Cable management was a cinch and the screwless drive cage makes installing disks really simple - you push the HD in until the pin engages with a very satisfying CLUNK. The SSD cage is made of cheap-feeling plastic and seems to be added as an afterthought, but it works. The build was really easy. This is a very satisfyingly utilitarian box.
