Still very fast.Matches the R3E. Overclocking is a nightmare. I'm sorry. I adore Corsair and am in enjoy with the AX1200 but overclocking on this kit has been horrendous thusfar. i was used to my old rig with 4 gig or DDR2 ram, now having my i7 980 3.3ghz with SSD 128gig sata3, im getting super blazing speed and that only half of what my motherboard can have....i don't think ram should ever be over looked when building a rig and if you have the motherboard and hardware to match the 2000MHz I say buy these beast of a ram.

This item is quite prevalent and very common. PCmark vantage/Windows 7/Everest scores are not as high as what I believed. What tensainoyue mentioned (the initially assessment) is surely NOT true! Windows 7 Household certainly supports 12GB ram. Even windows 7 house edition of course supports 24GB or a lot more memory. Got this ram for my build, more for looks but it performs well and from some mem test this ram is awesome. I do suggest a i7 extreme cpu for this product as you will keep your vtt or dram voltage low vs a standard i7 cpu you will need to bump vtt dram volatages to run stable 2000mhz or with the XMP profile. My score in mem test is actually a little slower due to the fact that gulftowns uncore is 1 1/2 times the memory in mhz but benefit from lower votage, I like this kit it complements my components another 12gb would be nice :)
