Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:broken within 1 month
Pros:was really cheap Comment:
I got this a month ago (36 days) when it was on sale for $4.99 as a refurbished item. Really glad that I got it for that price. I know this is a refurbished item, but I was told that usually refurbished items have gone under lots of checks before it goes back into the market. However today while I was transferring file from my pc to the flash drive, it just stopped working all of a sudden and now there's no response regardless which pc I use.Very disappointed, how it breaks, and when it breaks. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:not free
Pros:cheap cool it works Comment:
Cant complain for the price I paid. An 8gb stick for $9 is too good to resist. One star off for refurb. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Died in less than a yearNot that nice looking
Pros:CheapRubber exterior Comment:
The only bright side of this thing was that it was cheap when it was on sale. Sadly, cheap USB flash drives come at a price... I cannot believe that this USB Flash Drive died in less than a year. Even if it's Refurbish, a flash drive that dies under a year is unacceptable. Never buying a Refurb Corsair USB ever again. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:-i dont know if its windows 7 or the drive but sometimes the drive starts off saying 5 min remaining then it can go up to 2 hours but in the end it does take 5min
Pros:-price-good speeds-like the rubber design -size-says usb 2.0/3.0 on the box but have not tried usb 3 yet Comment:
got it on sale for only $4.99 and its a great drive for the price i actually regret not getting 2. it transfers a 3gb file from the pc to the drive in around 8min and from the drive to the pc in around 2min. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
I was using it with a very old computer and it couldnt be recognized, but my friends usb2.0 worked just fine on that computer.
Pros: I got this when there is a mail-in rebate for just 4.99. It worked fine and very fast with all computers Comment:
i really think its worth it if you got it with a fair price! otherwise, there are many there for options |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Write/Read Speed
Pros: Price On Sale Comment:
Got one of these for $10 on sale. Good capacity for the price. Read/Write speeds of 10/7 MBps though to be expected with price. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:This is the refurbished model so only a 2yr warranty vs 10yr on factory 1st production, does not include the usb extension cord or clip on neck band found in factory 1st productions. Size of protective rubber casing can get in the way of fitting around other usb devices in neighbooring ports. Not as fast as some of the "turbo" usb devices out there. Not sure how much helpful ReadyBoost on this improves system performance.
Pros:During christmas/boxing sale it was $15, cheap for a decent speed 8GB flash, all rubber/silicone casing including cap makes this drive water resistant and shock resistant. I can even bounce if dropped to the floor. Speed seems just under Class 6 SD cards, very environmentally efficient packaging just a cardboard insert sealed in a blister pack casing. Fast enough for ReadyBoost Comment:
It's big, it's bulky, it's durable, it's water resistant, it gets in the way of neighboring usb ports, it's reliable, large enough to hold a full DVD and then some and it was cheap. Can't say what the top speed on this is yet as I currently get between 3-5MBytes/s on a non-optimized Vista with usb set to non-cached "quick removal" instead of cached "performance". |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:- Somewhat easy to lose the cap (But you can get a replacement from Corsair directly)- Only 2 year warranty rather than full fledged "lifetime" warranty on non-refurb model- Rubber is a dust and lint magnet
Pros:+ Very cheap on sale!+ Decent read/write speeds. Comment:
Purchased this on sale. A good replacement for my dying Patriot 8GB flash drive. The keyring on my Patriot was made of brittle plastic, and ultimately broke off. This Corsair doesn't have that problem as it's made of pretty strong rubber.Mine doesn't seem to suffer from connectivity or low speed problems like some other reviewers had. My ATTO Benchmark: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1575491/atto_corsair8gb.pngSeems to cap at around 9 MB/s write and 34 MB/s read - can't really ask for any more from such an inexpensive flash drive.Only small problem I've seemed to encounter is that the rubber casing is a lint and dust magnet. Not so friendly when it goes in the pocket :POtherwise great product - doesn't even feel like a refurb. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Write speed a bit slow: 8MBps with the Format utility from the SD-CARD Organization(http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/).
Pros:Good price for 8GB. Use SD Formatter 2.0 to increase the write speed. Read 8MBps, write 23MBps. Comment:
Just out of box, the write speed is around 4MBps and read speed is about 23MBps. Once use SD Formatter 2.0(http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/)to format the drive. The write speed increase to 8BMps. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Seems awfully slow moving data. Not quick sure the actual speed, but one of the slower ones I ever owned.
Pros:Good price - $9.99 - that's about a buck per GB. Refurb or not, the price is right. Comment:
OK for the money, I guess. The speed seems to be fairly slow - not sure about what data rate it has. At this price, it is still worth it. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Don't know yet since it never work.
Pros:Don't know yet since it never work. Comment:
Just pick up one today, plug in 3 different pc, never work, dead dead unit, the light don't even flash, I have own about 20 different USB flash drives, it is the first USB flash drive that don't work. I give a 3 stars because 1 & 2 Star reviews are checked by NCIX staff for relevance to the product beforce being posted online. |

Corsair Flash Voyager CMFUSB2.0-8GB 8GB USB2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Rubber not glued properly so it slipped off the circuit and exposed it naked!Nothing to hold the cap.
Pros:Works ok so far. Nice to have 8GB. Comment:
It is ok if you buy it on special, e.g. for $15. Handle with care to avoid stripping the rubber case off the circuit. |
I love USB thumb drives, I’ve got all sorts of them in varying shapes and sizes floating around my desk at all times. The ones I’ve got range in various sizes, shapes colors and capacities, I just think they’re one of the coolest and most useful gadgets out there today. Performance was almost comparable to that of an internal hard disk drive.
