I picked this up for $17 on sale to check out a USB3 thumb drive. It comes with a fat32 format which is universal, but not useful for my purposes. I reformatted to a Linux file format, so I could try 10gig plus transfers, and all seems fine except that speed really drops off after a few seconds.It is large and that may give issues if adjacent ports are taken up by some larger USB wifi or mouse receiver sticks. |

works fine, not the fastest usb stick ive seen but for the price im more than ok with it. I thought it would be smaller for some reason, its still fairly small, just of the bigger side of the usb stick spectrum. No idea if i makes it more resistant but it feels solid enough. |
I bought this on sale. Its pretty good. The one major thing I don't love about it is how the slide cap does not lock closed so when it is in my pocket it tends to expose. All in all it doesn't really matter but one would expect this to work a bit better especially when this is why i chose a capless stick in the first place.
