Corsair Force Series 3 60GB SSD SATA3 Solid State Disk 525MB/S Read SandForce SF-2200
Cons:60gbasynchronous NAND chip based
Pros:Good price Comment:
Meaningless benchmark numbers showing 120gb's are faster or that asynchronous NAND chip based ss'ds aren't as good as say Corsair's GT will tell you, this SSD has it's shortcomings.I'm here to tell you it's fantastic. Unless you can find better for this price, go for it.Real world performance is what matters. Windows boots in 25 seconds from post.WoW loads a character in seconds I can count on one hand. There's no throttling, or discrepancies to be concerned about. It's fast. |

Corsair Force Series 3 60GB SSD SATA3 Solid State Disk 525MB/S Read SandForce SF-2200
Cons:The read speed only reach about 190mb/s due to my alienware m11xr2 limited :
Pros:Extremely fast Comment:
Don't use this drive in your notebook because your notebook would probably only support up to 200mb/s when this can reaches 500mb/s. For desktop drive, it is a good buy! For laptop, big no no |

Corsair Force Series 3 60GB SSD SATA3 Solid State Disk 525MB/S Read SandForce SF-2200
Cons:none so far
Pros:Fast.Decent price.Good warranty Comment:
Working perfectly so far. Purchased it for SSD caching which is working great. But i may buy 2 more very soon and just replace everything with a 180gb raid0 set up as i don't use much disc space at all and 180gb would be more then enough. I recommend this drive to anyone looking for a small SSD |
This drive is designed for Intel srt in a obvious way. near max Sata 3.0 speeds on SSD o 60gb makes me believe this And this is what i bought the drive for twice .. 2 different systems both using Intel SRT.. both outperforming a identical system with a Vertex 2 120gb stand alone boot drive in both boot times and game load times , yes out performing not equal too.. the main difference with srt vs pure ssd is i loaded 10 + games on those machines while the pure vertex 2 120gb drive machine could hold only 5 just for note both of those systems were partnered with a 1.5 tb WD black hdd bu t i don't think that was any deciding factor.
