Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:- Refurbished- Minimal warranty
Pros:- Inexpensive- Improves Windows boot times substantially over a standard mechanical hard drive- Reliable- Silent, doesn't produce heat Comment:
I purchased this on sale to use as a Windows 7 OS drive. I followed a guide on Corsair's user support forums to properly configure Windows for use with an SSD. Windows boots almost instantaneously and application loading time has improved greatly over my previous drive (Western Digital Black 1TB). The drive has been in use since June and I've had no issues so far. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:~30 days warranty
Pros:~cheap~fast Comment:
I bought 2 of these when they were on sale. I installed them as a boot drive and they reduced my login time from ~1min to ~25sec. I noticed a big difference in boot speed and software launch speed. The only drawback for this refurbished drive is it's 30 days warranty. Even if it's 90 days, it would be more appealing. So far the drives have been working perfectly for the past 4 months and I'll be happy if they can last me for a year. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:Hard to check the firmware revision
Pros:Astonishingly fast, especially compared to an older drive Comment:
I bought this to replace the stock drive in my netbook. What a difference! Boots up in seconds (and shuts down even faster, almost before I click the button). Programs open immediately, and the whole system is much more responsive. The only problem I encountered was trying to find out if the drive came with the most up to date firmware (turns out it did, but it took a lot of effort to find that out). |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:-warrenty period
Pros:-Very fast, consistent 250 mb/s read and write around the same using benchmarking tool.-Got it for about 1$ a gig 2 months back when it went on sale Comment:
I have used this in my laptop everyday for about 2 months after running a few benchmarks on it. I also used HD Tune Pro and HD Sentinel to check other things. The unit I have was only powered on a handful of times before I got it, and the data that was written to it is also low. I was planning to move it to my gaming rig but didnt get around to it because I enjoy the HUGE increase in speed in everything in my C2D inspiron 1545 laptop. For the price it is worth it, though in the future when I have SATA3 with my new rig I would purchase a drive for a bit more with a 3 year warranty. When you think about it 2 of these in raid, or a 120 gig SATA3 drive will have about the same performance, and the new SATA3 drives arnt too much of a price difference. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:Died in 35 days (no longer detected during boot)
Pros:Fast when it workedMakes for a good coaster Comment:
I figured I'd roll the dice on this drive considering the price and because I've had good experiences with Corsair products in the past. Sadly, after about 35 days the drive was no longer detected during boot up. I guess corsair timed their warranty perfectly with the 30 day time limit. Lesson learned I guess; I will be avoiding their products in the future. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:30 day warranty
Pros:FastCheapPerfect for IRST Comment:
I'm using this as a Intel Rapid Storage Technology cache disk with my Gigabyte Z68X-UD4-B3. My HDD is a WD Black. It really works extremely good. At the sale price of $70, it was a no brainer to use one of these refurb units for this installation. Hopefully it will last longer than the 30 day warranty period. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:dead after less than 20 minutes of usage
Pros:Cannot be determined Comment:
Bought this today, hooked it up and the SSD was detected. Installed Windows 7, the install time was very short. Computer was booted into windows, then windows froze about 2 minutes in. I decided to reboot to see whether it'll boot, then when it POST, the SSD is not longer detected. Rebooted many times after that, still no luck. Will definitely exchange for another one to see if the same problem occurs. That leaves me to put it at 1 star due to stability issues. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:Refurb model with questionable lifespan. First unit was DOA (would detect, but unable to format). Replacement unit working well.
Pros:Fast, quiet, no heat Comment:
Very happy with performance although no official benchmarks performed yet. Going to install OS as primary drive. Currently just running games on it and load times are much improved. Even game play is smoother as compared to the 2TB green drive I have been using. Only concern is the lifespan I can expect from a refurb as the first unit was DOA which was a major disappointment. Swap was painless and NCIX handled without any fuss, so over all satisfaction is high at this time. At the sale price, I am willing to risk lifespan issues. |

Cons:Refurb only 30 days warranty.
Pros:Quality Brand.Price.Performance. Comment:
Ordered this for 69.99$, almost 1$ per GB. First one I ordered was not detected, returned for RMA and received a 2nd one. Working great so far. benchmarked using ATTO, I get 275mb read and 220 on write in the Lenovo T400 laptop. Windows index score is 7.4.Highly recommend for the price. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:PriceSize
Pros:SpeedWorks Comment:
Upgraded from an Seagate 7200.12 1TB and the difference is dramatic. Boot times and application load times are fantastic. It is refurbished so I had doubts about the quality of the drive. Has not broken down on me so far. |

Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 SSD Sandforce Refurb *30 Day Warranty
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Quick, small, responsive. Everything you would expect from a decent SSD. Comment:
This SSD uses the same controller as the Vertex 2 drives and will obtain similar speeds. It really made a noticable improvement in my playstation 3's performance. |
Drive is installed in a cheap Dell notebook, which turned it into a usable computer. It's not instant boot or anthing like that, but the performance boost is certainly noticed. The battery last about an extra 1/2 hour now too.
