Corsair Professional Series HX1050 1050W ATX 12V 87A 24PIN ATX 80PLUS Silver Modular Power Supply
Cons:not fully moduled
Pros:1. stable power source2. looks nice3. nice sleeved cable provided for diff need. |
I bought this somewhere else, actually a slive cert hx1050. but almost same thing. not sure why nobody review this yet, it should be a popular psu. anyways, I had to move from hx750 to hx1050 as power shortage strike my mod like heart attack. so far hx1050 has been working for me over two month, no complain. Actually i have no complain for both hx750 and hx1050, it's just 750w no longer good enough as i beef up my mod too much. This thing weights like a ton, a heave brick. But it does provide stable power and works great so far. As ususal corsair care about the look and packaging of their prod. so on top of performance, this psu looks nice but not too sharp in my case. recently I bought corsair hx series white sleeved cable to replace stock cables, my hx1050 looks even better.in all, hx1050 does what exactly a psu suppose to do. highly recommended. only downside is, to achieve high effciency, 4 calbes, 24pin board /2xpci-e/1x8pin cpu, are not modular ones.
