Corsair TX650 650W ATX 12V Single Rail 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 80PLUS Bronze Refurbished
Cons:Coil whine noises on load (look it up on google) * not modular so there is a load of extra cables once a medium-sized PC build is done
Pros:Does what it's supposed to do, tons of power headroom * cables are nylon-sleeved and very durable * an excess of cables, no need to worry about lacking cables! Comment:
Overall a pretty standard PSU for the price (I got it for $50). Coil whine is annoying but I tucked the PC under my desk so it's not too noticeable.I will probably upgrade to a better PSU in the future that does not have coil whine though. |
I bought this power supply for my htpc which does not have any critical data or high end hardware. This unit was only 40 dollars on sale, when I received it, there wasn't any signs of wear and tear on the unit. The unit I received was surprisingly quiet, and voltages are well within specs. The short warranty is a bit concerning but for the price, no complaints.
