Corsair Value Select PC3200 2GB 2X1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:Cost twice the price of DDR2
Pros:Enhanced the life of older PC Comment:
Great memory run stable no problem, this memory is compatible with any setup that has DDR1 (184pins) from 2001 to 2005, I recommend everyone that doesn't have the money for a new computer and want to give their old pc a new life, this enhancement as it's limits, if you have old celeron (older then 2005) also consider changing the cpu |

Corsair Value Select PC3200 2GB 2X1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:Mu old system. lol
Pros:2 gigs for 70 bucks, + the rebate, you can't go wrong Comment:
Make no mistake, Corsair is simply the best when it comes to RAM.It's because of this ram that I can run Vista, multitasking like never before on my 5 year old rig.I highly recommend this ram for anyone looking at 2 gigs of 184 pin.Your mobo will clock it at what it wants. My only clocks at 266 and it's working great. :) |

I don't really have a great idea of what good RAM is supposed to be like, but I am personally satisfied with this. It'll be enough for everything I want to do.(Photoshop, 3DSM, games, etc.)I'm just running it stock, so I don't know how good of an OCer it is. It's at 3/3/3/8 by default if you're wondering. I know it won't be anywhere near as good as the more expensive RAM sticks though.Ya, if I was rich, I'd invest in the higher quality RAM but for the average-above average user, this is a pretty good deal. Corsair Value Select PC3200 2GB 2X1GB DDR400 CL3 184PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:They didn't even have it available to me when I went to pick up my computer
Pros:I have no idea because they switch out this RAM on me. Comment:
Okay, originally, I had this RAM set up in my new computer. They said they had it ready for pickup, pre-assembled, on a Thursday evening. So the next day I went to pick up the computer and they said they had NO RAM in it. It hadn't shipped yet and I had to wait for it to come, then they had to stick it in and then do a memory test. I refused. Then they offered to put in the 2 gig OCZ platinum and again I refused to wait for them to finish 'testing' the ram because it was already supposed to be finished for me to pick up. |
This memory has been running stable for the past few years. but for the price it's better to upgrade your system with some DDR3 memory and compatible CPU.
