Corsair Vengeance K70 Cherry MX RGB Red Switches Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Black
Cons:Software isn't easy to use, the previous version had a usb hub - this one doesn't, only 3 brightness settings, num lock LED is bright white and cannot be turned off or changed color
Pros:Feels well built, the wrist rest is comfortable and moves/detaches if you adjust the height of the keyboard, overall good design, the logo isn't ugly unlike the previous version, multimedia controls, metal scroll wheel for volume control |

Corsair Vengeance K70 Cherry MX RGB Red Switches Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Black
Cons:Not necessarily a CON...the software takes a while to fully understand.
Pros:Built very well, sturdy Corsair quality. Comment:
A very well built piece of hardware...the color combo's are endless along with the way they're displayed...(solid, gradient, ripple, wave etc.)As you experiment with the software, you can program an endless # of lighting profiles and programmable key functions.AWESOME keyboard! |
The software is more complicated than it should be but some basic actions such as changing the color of the LEDs can be done by anyone without reading the manual. If you don't want to create your own LED animations you can just download and import animations made by others. I've heard a lot of people complaining about compatibility issues in other online reviews but I've had none so far. Plugged in the keyboard in the USB and it worked right away. The keyboard feels well built - stainless steel cover on top, metal scroll wheel for volume control, thick mesh-covered cord, soft plastic wrist rest.I wish there were more LED brightness settings. Currently there are 3. The num/scroll/caps lock LEDs are bright white and cannot be turned off or changed color.
