Cons:None.
Pros:Good quality. Don't get hot. Comment:
Works well on my PC. To get the CL9 speeds you must enable the XMP, otherwise it will be at a slower CL. |

I am running Ubuntu 14.10 and the OS found the ram with no issue. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-04-14 10:53 AM |

Corsair Vengeance Pro Black CMY16GX3M2A1866C9 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1866 CL9 1.5V Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:Tall heat spreader may interfere with some air coolers.
Pros:OverclockableDual ChannelNice heat spreader Comment:
Have been using Corsair Vengeance and Dominator ram in all my machines so I guess I bought based on brand loyalty, never had a stick fail. Bought the Vengeance Pro series for it's O/C potential, reliability, heat spreaders fit well with the color scheme of my rig and I felt it was the best kit for it's price in the weekly sale |
I need to be able to run VMs on my computer and having lots of RAM will help. Since the motherboard supports 32 GB of RAM, I didn't want to waste the available slots so I went with two sticks totaling 16 GB, leaving me additional slots for more RAM in the future. I also bought Corsair because I've had good results with Corsair RAM in the past.
