Cons:sticks out the side of the laptop about 3in, easy to do damage to the card if your not careful

I got some Bose computer speakers and they sound good thrugh the laptop sound card but I was wondering if Creative Labs could make them sound better...... The answer to that is... YES. Creative Labs has suprised me once again with such a small product but with big result. I installed the sound card with ease and then turned on some jazz and I was amazed on how the Bose speakers really came alive with just installing this sound card. I have recommended this item to friends, family and co-workers. |

Since I started using this Soundblaster X-Fi I found myself either looking behind me or at the corners of the room thinking I heard something or someome. The truth is it does actually bring out sounds in my music I never heard before. Of course you should have good speakers to start with as well. |
To get the most out of this its best to have a nice set of headphones, you will notice very little quality difference if you use the cheap set of ear buds that come with it. Essentially works like the sound card in a desktop so if your laptop has nice speakers you will also notice a improvement in quality. You can also use wireless creative speakers with this however compatible wireless speakers are over priced.
