Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Speakers
Cons:left speaker cable very short barely reaches across my 2 25" displays!
Pros:Beautiful Sound reproduction for small room or office Comment:
Just Picked these up for my 100 Square foot Office and they produce a very clean natural audio reproduction. This is the best sound quality out of a set of speakers this size that I have Heard. If you want big teenager "BASS" buy a system with a sub and crank it. If you want a reasonably sized Speaker to fill your small room or office with accurate reference sound and full range. These should be top on your list. Last but not Least Do not pay $170 for them you can get them easily for under $100 and at that price they are a steal! |

Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Speakers
Cons:Does not replace a real setup with a sub.
Pros:Excellent sound quality for 2.0 speakers. Comment:
For 2.0 speakers, these have relatively powerful bass. If you can get them for the right price, I would definitely recommend them. |

Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Speakers
Cons:pricy compare to Edifer
Pros:size, amazing sound quality Comment:
had many 2.1 speakers since I walked out college, Harman Kardon Soundsticks, logitech z2300,Edifer 330D,Bose Companion 3 and now T40, the Harman Kardon got the best looks, 330D is the best bang for your buck, BOSE is good but its way over priced, really loved the edifer, the sound is near perfect for the price, the reason for the T40 is the space, my wife complaint about big subwoofer all the time, she finally forced my give my edifer away, said buy something smaller, the T40 has better sound quality than my old z2300, nearly as good as my edifer, but its kind of pricy, hope edifer could make something like T40 with its half price, but before they do T40 seems to be the best 2.0 speakers under 200 dollars |

Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Speakers
Cons:
None
Pros: RangeQuality Comment:
These are the absolute best desktop speakers I have heard. I gave up on the crappy static volume control on the useless Klipsch Promedia 2.0s. Threw them out, bought these, and no regrets!I am hearing sounds in my library that I have never heard on any other set of speakers. Don't let anyone tell you that you need a subwoofer; these speakers outperform any 2.1 system out there in double this price range. The sound is crystal clear at all volumes -- and this is playing bass-heavy electronica. They can go ear-bleeding loud. There is no background noise when idling and the bass is very punchy and distinct. The stereo separation is also incredible, even when they are touching the sides of my 19" widescreen LCD. The audio wraps around you and sounds very natural. The quality of construction is also top notch. The controls are extremely smooth and feel nothing like the usual cheap pots on any other set of desktop speakers. These come highly recommended and are well worth the price. |

Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Speakers
Cons:LED on front is SUPER bright.
Pros:Excellent Bass, high, and midrange frequencies.-Treble and bass controls on front-Headphone and aux jack on front-Sound amazing Comment:
I've had these speakers for a long time now and am pretty picky about my audio as my library is %90 flac. These speakers are excellent. I tried every speaker set at a few different stores and kept being increasingly unsatisfied with the way most computer speakers were eq'd. Super enchanced, muddy bass, with slightly scooped mids on the more expensive sets, tinny, garbage, hollow sound that breaks up at 3 on the less expensive sets. When I found these I was amazed. Plugged in my MP3 player and just sat and listened. You have to push them super hard to break them up, usually I can't. They are loud. Really loud, but maintain sound quality through the whole range, a very linear set. Bass is perfect, you don't need a sub with these. Can't say how happy I am with them. |
great sound and decent bass for 2.0 speakers but not worth full price.pricematch available to make them worthwhile
