If you exclude the price than this is a pretty good usb sound card.when i first tested it out on my pc i was amazed, it made my 10 dollar teknmotion headset sound better, just think about what a more expensive headset will sound like. It also worked on my xbox, which made my gaming experience a lot better as i can hear a lot more around me. |

Cons:-Too many wires needed to hook up to a game console-Stereo output as opposed to true digital output-Can't imagine anyone would spend the money on this when they could buy a decent pair of wireless surround headphones for the same price give or take

I've been in the market for an external sound card for my Mac Book Pro Retina and nothing comes close to the quality of this product. There is no doubt that there is a significant sound difference from the built-in sound card and the Recon3D when it comes to gaming or listening to music. I highly recommend this product for any Mac gamer seeking an external sound card. |

Cons:pricey, if bought at the regular price.
Pros:For headsets, best suited for a laptop or console system. Comes with all the cables you'll ever need (USB, aux, and optical). Rubber feet keeps it in place. Comment:
I bought this for my laptop, Portable, It comes with an optical cable, usb, or aux. If you use headphones and you don't want something that you can easily use on different devices (console, laptop/desktop etc.) this is it. The equalizer is easy to use. I haven't used the scout mode, because I barely play shooters these days. Obviously this is isn't remarkable but it boosts audio to a more enjoyable level. |
It works a treat for the Xbox 360. Great in fact. However, it likes to give a static buzzing noise caused by the grounding on the PS3 when used with a PS3. Other than that, it's great.
