Great Product and Service
Comment:
I needed more memory but did not have a clue as to which memory card I could use. Your tech looked up my past invoice on my computer to see which I needed. This was done in a matter of 5 minutes and I placed the order. I received the product within 3 days and it was a seamless installation. Thanks.

Good memory for an office upgrade
Comment:
I used this memory to update one of our accounting departments computer, give them a little extra capacity for running multiple apps. The memory works great, obviously not as well as any performance memory, but you get what you pay for.

Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:none

Pros:very low profile, cheap
Comment:
bought this from ncix when it was $10, ram turned out to be the "very low profile" ram even tho the picture on ncix was the normal one, very useful if u have ur ram slots blocked by a hsf or something.

Crucial memory: reliable and the best price!
Comment:
When I build a PC and need RAM. I dont seek out exotic, sexy or fancy names. I just buy CRUCIAL. I have Crucial memory in PCs running for a few years now.Always reliable. Also buy from here and take advantage of the buyer rewards program. I get 10 or 20 dollars back on many or just about all of my purchases.

Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:Retail Rendition ram from Crucial is not much more and offers lifetime warranty.

Pros:CheapReputable brandDoes the job
Comment:
Kind of regret getting this over ram over the Rendition stuff. I'm sure it's pretty much the same, but this appears to be OEM, so it only has a 1-year warranty with NCIX whereas the Rendition stuff has lifetime since it's retail.Anyway, it does the job. I only recommend this for budget builds.

Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:Also price, if you don't get it on sale. $20/ea at the time of this review is a little steep.

Pros:Price. Does what its supposed to.
Comment:
I got 2 of them on sale for $12.99 each for an office/internet/etc computer. They work fine. I haven't tried overclocking them or anything but no problems so far.

Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:-For budget builds only-Slow timings

Pros:-CHEAP!!-DDR2-800
Comment:
I bought this a few weeks ago from ncix, I decided to get some G.Skill with more memory and better timings instead and sold this to a friend, but I found they were ok while I had them, no stability issues etc.

Cons:none for the price

Pros:cheap price for DDR2 800, lifetime warrenty through crusial
Comment:
i have seen rendition sticks cheaper at other sites, but this was still a great price if you need it right away. great for a budget or HTPC build where latency isn't very important.

Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Comment:
The 6400 unit I received would not run without scads of errors at 800MHz: memtest generated hundreds within a few minutes of starting. Lower the access speed to 533, and no errors. Pity Crucial quality control appears to be sending everything to users and letting them test for 800 MHz capability.

Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Comment:
So far so good. Seems to be running smooth thus far. This memory chip will be added to my system which currently have 3MB of ram. 32 bit vista only supports 4MB of ram anyway. This memory will be tested once the multi tasking, multi media, video editing, podcasting, DVD Burning along with running many programs, all open at the same time fingers crossed. Also, it was suggested to purchase PC Pitstop Optimizer as well. This is supposed to manage your memory to the fullest extent. I am yet convince, but we'll see. Better to have more than less, because over time your system only grows with ''stuff'' if you know what I mean.
