Cannot configure it at 1066 MHz speed. I have met 3 other people that bought those and had the same problem. This memory stays at 800 MHz if you don't overclock it. The strength is the price. |

Cons:The previous "revision" of this set had a high death rate but I've been assured by a Crucial friend of mine that these are completely different. The lower voltage required to run them is probably part of the story.
Pros:They need 2.0V to run at DDR2-1066 speed while most kits need 2.1V. Crucial warranty service is very good should you need it. Comment:
I got 2 such kits in a recent $20 sale that NCIX had. I've owned several Crucial Ballistix and Ballistix Tracer kits in the past too. I'm happy with Crucial memory, especially at this price! |

Got it on extreme deal of the day. For 20 dollars. Can't find anything else cheaper than this. I work hard for my money so I want things to have good price and quality. I don't just go ahead and buy expensive rams. So far no problem with this ram. Well crucial are famous for their Ram and I take their name for this purchase. Thanks again NCIX for the Extreme deal of the day! It will most likely keeps me coming back each day. |

Cons:Both died within 13months, first died 11months, second one died 13months after purchase. No overclocking, was on a gigabyte p35 board with great reviews, stable power supply by corsair.

Would not suggest this over other brands like corsair, ocz, buffalo, even the g.skills that's cheaper worked fine / longer than this, first i thought maybe im just unlucky, but looked up some reviews, maybe i just didn't do enough study. |
