Crucial Ballistix Elite 8GB 2X4GB PC3-14900 DDR3-1866 1.5V CL9 Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:A little high with heat sink radiator fins - can be difficult to fit close to a large CPU heat sink
Pros:Good quality, fast, reliable memory Comment:
Got this memory on sale a month ago and am very pleased with it. On my 2 year old MSI P55-GD65, the previous cosair memory constantly hung or caused the computer to fault and reboot, and even though it was labeled 1.5V DDR3-1600, I had to run it at 1.65V and DDR3-1333. This memory has been running flawlessly at the specified 1.5V DDR3-1866 for a month now, with no unusual, or unexpected reboots or faults/blue screens. |

Cons:None
Pros:FastLow TimingsSexyInexpensive Comment:
Got this kit on sale for $59.99. What a deal for 8GB 1866 9-9-9-27!Ram looks and feels great. Turned on the XMP profile and had them running n 1866 9-9-9-27 with no problems. They even have temperature sensors on them!(works with HWMonitor) Haven't tried overclocking them yet but they have some beefy heatsinks which should serve them well. |
Simple install really. Quite good for the sale price, but I'm curious how tighter timings would perform in real world situations. Its RAM so I don't know what else to say really.
