Cons:heat spreaders aren't pretty, but who cares its all a gimmick anyway! (RDRAM needed heatspreaders, DDR-RAM never needed heatspreaders as the heat is already distributed across the DDR stick!)

Great low profile & tight timings RAM so you can use with any heatsink you want! I checked all the other 2x8gb RAM out there and they were 10-10-10-24 timings o 1.5, this one is rated o 9-9-9-24 o 1.5v from the factory, so you don't have to lose your tight timings when you go from 2x4GB to these 2x8GB. Also they're low profile so work perfectly with my massive Noctua cooler! I got it on sale for $85, incredible price!
